March 4, 1998 (continued)

Ellie took deep breaths. This was so painful. Blood was getting all over her wedding dress, and not only that, she was frightened. Carefully, she took her wand out and cast a healing spell. "Episkey," she recited. The spell gave her just the beginnings of healing. She realized she wouldn't want to wear her wedding dress if she was going to survive in the wilderness. She pictured her comfy clothes at home, and cast, "Accio outfit!". The clothes disappeared from their place in the dresser in Scotland, and appeared in Ellie's hand. Quickly, the werewolf changed into her comfortable clothing, and used a different spell to put her wedding dress in the place of the clothing in the drawer.

A howl echoed through the woods, as Ellie's eye caught notice of the full moon. Painfully, her body shifted into that of a wolf's. She was one of those few werewolves who went full-wolf. At the end of the shifting, Ellie lost control over herself. She hunted small animals and ravaged the forest before tiring herself out, and laying down in the den she'd made in her human form that granted her some comfort. Before, she'd laid on her stomach, but because she'd gained weight (in both human and wolf forms) she laid on her side to provide more room.

Finally, Ellie howled in pain and transformed back into a human. She closed her eyes and got as much sleep as she could, after not being able to get any the previous night. However, after only an hour or two, she was awoken by an owl. The blonde groaned, then opened her eyes to see that the owl had a letter. "Thanks," she told it, before she took the letter and it flew off, like usual.

Ellie opened up the letter and began to read it

To Ellie Tonks Wood,

I am writing to inform you that your nephew, Edward Lupin, was born (by the time you receive this) a few days ago. He is healthy, and will be staying with our mother during missions until it is safe for Remus and I to take care of him. We are at our (yours and mine) childhood home, and it should be safe for you to return.

From your sister,

Nymphadora Tonks

Ellie smiled just a bit. She gathered her things, then apparated to the front door of her parents' home and knocked on the door. The apparation had made her so motion sick.

Andromeda opened the door and smiled. "Oh, Ellie, I was so worried about you!" She confessed, wrapping her arms around her youngest child. "Come on inside," she told her.

The werewolf came inside. Gosh, she needed to vomit. Apparating after a full moon was not fun. Quickly, Ellie rushed to the sink and threw up.

Andromeda looked at her daughter. "Are you okay, sweetie?" she asked.

Ellie nodded. "Yeah, it's just because last night was a full moon, and I don't know what I ate then, I have no memory of it. The apparating probably just jumbled my stomach around a bit." She sighed. "Do you know where my husband is?"

"No, I'm sorry... but I'd imagine he's at your home in Scotland. When you're feeling better, you could apparate there," Andromeda suggested.

Ellie nodded, before the sound of a baby crying echoed through the house. "Is that my new nephew?" She inquired.

Andromeda smiled. "Your sister should be in her room with Remus and Teddy."

The 21 year old walked down the hall to her sister's room and lightly knocked on the door, as to not disturb the newborn.

"Come in," Nymphadora summoned.

Ellie quietly came in. "I got your letter... I came here to let you know I'm okay, to see my nephew, and maybe even to stay for a little while," she explained.
