Bobby calls buck and asks him to come in and help. Buck is more than happy to get to be out of his apartment.

He arrives at the station and Bobby is waiting for him in the loft.
"Hey Cap" Buck says walking up to him.
"Here put on your uniform"
"Ok"

After about an hour of Bobby having Buck help him with things around the station. Bobby looks at Buck and he has a huge smile on his face.
"Why are you so happy?"
"I'm doing my job, even if I'm not out in the truck I'm still here"
Bobby is in utter awe, he realises just how much Buck loves this job.

It hits 1:25 and Bobby has Buck go in and give the bathrooms a tidy up so he doesn't see all the people come.

At 1:35 buck comes out onto the main area and sees about 50 people standing there. He recognises some of them, from the tsunami.

"Hi, I reached out to your captain, I told him all about how you saved tones of people during the tsunami while you were hurt and looking for someone yourself, we all wanted to find you so we made an Instagram. Account and that's when ae realised just how many people you saved, you are a true hero"

Buck stands there in utter shock.
"Thank you"

"We also head that you were badly injured so we set up a go fund me to help with the hospital Bill's, millions of people from around the world donated"

Buck is in pure shock.
"I don't know what to say, thank you all so much"
"Its the least we could do, you saved our lives"

Everyone stands and claps for him, it was in this moment he knew that this is where his heart wanted to be, saving people that couldn't save themselves.

After about 2 hours everyone left and Eddie asks to speak with buck privately.

"Everything ok?"
"Yeah, I just wanted to thank you, you saved Christopher's life, and I will forever appreciate that"
"No, thank you, you saved mine, and I love Christopher, more than I love myself actualy" Buck says looking at eddie.

Eddie looks buck in the eye and kisses him. He after a couple seconds he pulls away.
"I'm so sorry!"
"Don't be" buck says. Buck puts his hands on Eddie's face and pulls him in again. Hen and chimney see and hen holds out her hand.
"$10 please"
"How come you always win bets"
"I have the best gaydar here, don't try me"
