Chris' brother would pick us up at the airport. Chris wanted to stay at his moms house instead of his and I understood that. He haven't met them in a while and wanted to spend time with them as much as he could. And I was nervous as fuck, I think Chris noticed that when we were picking up our bags.
"Hey doll, it's fine. I promise you you don't have to be nervous." He said and smiled to me. That smile made me calmer, much calmer.

We got our bags and as I thought I was not allowed to pull my own bag. Chris' brother Scott stood there when we came outside, he had made a big sign with the text 'fucking Boston baby, Chris and Eve'. I laughed when I saw how hysterical he went when he saw us. He hugged me first and very tight.
"Omg god Eve, you are even more beautiful in real life. Chris really told us all the truth about your beauty." He said and smiled
"Haha thank you." I said
"We are going to be besties." He said and I smiled.

"You didn't even hug your brother first?" Chris asked and looked at him.
Scott hugged Chris and we all went to the car. It was a pretty short ride to his moms house and when we got closer I got a bit nervous.
"Eve, what do you prefer, red wine or white?" Scott asked. I sat in the backseat and Chris and Scott sat in the front.
"Well, I like beer." I said and I saw Chris and Scott look at each other with a smile.
"I told you." Chris said.
"Okay, we are really going to be besties." Scott said and made us all laugh.

We rolled up to his moms house, Chris opened my door and I smirked at him. He took our bags and walked to the door.
"Ready?" He asked and I nodded. Chris opened the door and inside you could hear kids and adults talking. It was thanksgiving and I understood that everyone would be here.
"Ma! We're here!" Chris shouted and around the corner a women could be seen and she had a big smile on her face.
"Ma, this is Eveline." Chris said and looked at me.
"Omg, you are so beautiful honey." She said and hugged me.
"More beautiful then Chris told us." She said and I laughed.
"Thank you ms Evans, you have a beautiful home." I said and she smiled.
"Oh please, call me Lisa." She said and I nodded.

"Hey my son." She said and hugged his son. It was beautiful seeing Chris so close with his family, it made me wanting to have that same close relationship with my parents.

"Please, come in. The food is soon ready and your sisters are here Chris." Lisa said and walked inside the kitchen.
"Are you okay?" Chris asked and took my hands.
"It's perfect." I said.
"I want to kiss you now but I don't think it the right time." Chris said
"No, it can wait." I said and we walked in to the kitchen. In there Chris' two sister Carly and shanna was there. They looked our way and Chris introduced me. They all welcomed me with hugs and big smiles. It felt really comfortable and welcoming, and fast I got very comfortable around their presence.

It was time for the dinner and thanksgiving. We all got seated around the table and I sat next to Chris' niece Stella and Chris. Stella had told me all about her favorite new movie that I haven't watched. It was the film Moana about a Disney princess.
"And then, she will meet this big boy, and they sing. It's a pretty cool movie." She said and I looked at her.
"It's sound amazing, I should watch it." I said and she grabbed my hand.
"Yeah! After dinner." She said and looked so happy. I smiled to her and nodded.
I looked over at Chris and he had a big smile on his face, he looked at me and I blushed.
"What?" I asked and still smiled.
"Nothing." He said and looked away.

We all started to eat and everyone talked about different stuff.
"So, Eveline. Do you like living in LA?" Carly asked me and I looked at her.
"I like it, but I live in Colorado and that's my home town, I really love it there too." I said and she smiled.
"Eve has a art studio in Colorado." Chris said and they all smiled.
"Wow, that's awesome, I need some new paintings." Scott said and winked at me.
"Me too." Lisa said and I smiled.
