It has now been 2 week without Chris and I must say that the time flew by. Lately Chris haven't reached out to me but I think it's work, but still. We used to talk on the phone every night but yesterday he just sent me a goodnight message. A simple goodnight. I don't know what's wrong or what happening but I just hope it's nothing that will effect our relationship together. He's coming home tomorrow and I'm so excited

I was home at Sofia, dodger was here too.
"This one?" She asked when she showed me a dress.
"That's perfect!" I said and smiled. We were at her sofa looking at her computer.
"Eve, come on." I think that Sofia noticed what was going on.
"What?" I asked and stood up to go to the kitchen that was in the same room as the living room.
"I know you are suspicious about this whole Chris not responding thing. But I know him, he's not doing anything wrong." She said and looked at me.
"I know, I know. I'm just overthinking that's all."
"Why don't you call him?" She asked.
"Should I?" I asked and she nodded.
"Okay."

I picked up my phone and dialed his number. The signals was going and then his voice sounded.
"Hey." He said. He sounded stressed.
"Hi." I said, this was the first time I was a bit uncomfortable calling him.
"What's up?" He asked me. 'What's up?' He didn't even remember that he haven't texted me or called me these past days.
"I'm just at Sofia's, what's going on with you. I haven't heard from you." I said and I heard a groan.
"I'm sorry, it's a lot over here and I don't have time for anything except working and then going to sleep." He said.
"Oh okay, that's fine." I said.
"Well I need to go now, bye."

What the fuck. I gasped when he hanged up on me in the middle of our conversation. Something was wrong and I just knew it.
"Eve, come here now". Sofia shouted to me. It was about 8 pm and that means it was 11 pm in Georgia.
"What?" I walked over to her and on her computer it was a gossip site. I couldn't see the head line and Sofia started to read it out loud.

"Film star Chris Evans spotted having a great close time with Michelle Cloverhigh..... what the fuck Eve." I watched the picture of him and Michelle laughing. She was touching his arm and his arm was around her waist. My stomach twisted and I felt sick to my stomach.
"Keep on going." I said
"Eve..."
"No, just read it." I said and felt my tears begin to form.
"Live in Georgia at this moment Chris and Michelle was cosy in the restaurant. Chris new co-star Michelle was seen holding Chris by his arm and hugging him. Is captain America of the market? From our point of view they look adorable together."

I felt like this was the worst day of my life. He just lied to me at the phone.
"He lied Sof."
"What?" She asked and put her computer away.
"He said he was not having anytime outside form work and that he was just going to sleep. He lied." I said and wiped away the tear falling from my eye.
"You know what? Fuck Chris, he's a fucking nasty piece of shit." She said and took my hands.
"He doesn't deserve you, your the best girl ever and you can have any guy you want." She said and wiped away my tears with her hands.

"I just think this is all a misunderstanding, I'm going to text him." I said
Before I could text him I got a text from him.
From Chris: "Eve, it's not what it looks like, we were just celebrating our movie coming out soon, I promise. I love you."

That text made things better, he knew how I would react and he texted me first to make sure that it was not what it looks like.
"It okay, I'm going home I think."
"Are you sure? Don't you want to stay? And please text Chris that I say fuck you to him." She said and laughed. I think she knew that he was a great guy and don't want to hurt me at all.
"I can't stay, I need to prep his house for Christmas tomorrow." I said and smiled.

I drove home to Chris to spend the night there with dodger and putting up some decorations. And about that article. I knew every people in this world wanted Chris to have someone and I think that the gossip sites wants to make big head lines and over dramatic things. I believe that Chris is telling me the truth and I trust him.
