Chapter 87: Heroes Day

It was early in the morning as the sun slowly rises from the horizon.

And Ladybug was heading back home.

Furthermore, the reason she was even out this late was because of Hawk Moth.

He had decided that sleep was for the week and created an Akuma in the early hours of 3am.

Unfortunately, the Akuma was a lot harder to beat than expected and it took hours to defeat them.

Jumping down the skylight, Marinette lands on her bed and de-transforms.

Marinette yawns and stretches her arms above her head.

"Finally."

At Adrien's place, Chat Noir had jumped through the window and de-transformed.

"That villain was so tough!" He said tiredly as him and Plagg fall on the bed.

With Red and Robin, once they got home.

They both started cursing Hawk Moth's name in their native tongues.

"This is the reason why he's the one I'll attack first if I was ever Akumatized." Ruby grumbled.

Damian scoffed and said, "At this point I'm willing to forgo my father's no killing rule."

Thankfully since they were already in their pajamas when this whole mess started.

They simply got back under the covers and tried to enjoy their sleep as long as they can.

Back at the Dupain-Cheng residence, Marinette sighs as she lays down in bed.

And Tikki pulls the covers over her.

"Good night, Tikki." She said tiredly.

Tikki kisses Marinette's forehead. "Sleep tight, Marinette."

Unfortunately, 40 minutes later, Marinette's phone rings and began to speak.

Phone: Rise and shine everyone! Today is Heroes Day! A day when you too can be a hero!

Groaning, Marinette pulls the covers over her face and tried to ignore the alarm.

But she then realized what it said and uncovered her face so she could look up at the ceiling with dread.

"Heroes Day?!" Marinette repeated softly.

Jumping out of bed, Marinette quickly gets ready. "Of course, it's Heroes Day! Just my luck!"

Once she was refreshed and dressed, she ran down the stairs as fast as she could.

"I completely forgot to plan my good deed today!" She exclaimed in dismay.

Tikki raises a confused eyebrow on why her holder is freaking out, she already did a good deed today after all.

"And the fact that you were up all-night saving Paris isn't enough of a good deed?"

Marinette stops in her tracks and looks at her Kwami.

"No, Tikki."

"Because that was a secret and Ladybug's good deed." Marinette explained.

"Heroes Day is when everyday citizens perform a good deed for other people's benefit."

She opens her purse, "Come on, Tikki."

The Kwami nods her head and hides in Marinette's purse.

Meanwhile with Marinette's parents, they were creating a giant cake in the shape of Ladybug's head.
