Getting out of their limo, Damian, and Ruby look at their school for a moment before they walk forward.
"Hey, Max!" Ruby said, greeting her classmate.
Who for some reason was walking very sluggishly up the stairs?
Groaning, Max placed his hands on his back and stretched and lets out another groan.
And then a loud yawn before he spoke. "Hello, Ruby...Damian."
"Wow, you look bushed." Ruby commented.
"I am, I was up almost the entire night working on a few updates to Markov." He stated.
"Dang. Then I hope you get some sleep tonight. You're gonna need it if you want Kim to stop teasing you about your height."
"Hmm that would be heavenly." Max muttered.
Letting out another yawn, the boy genius looks forward and walked up the stairs.
Soon time pass and the bell for school rang.
And on this day, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, resident clumsy girl of Paris was once again, running late.
Eating a croissant as she ran, Marinette saw that the door was closing.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!" She exclaimed as she ran through the crack of the door.
Making her way up the stairs, she was about to go in when she saw Ruby and Damian.
"Oh, hey guys."
Walking over to her friend, Ruby playfully flicks Marinette on the nose.
"Marinette, late as usual I see." She teased.
Scrunching up her nose, Marinette pouts at the Huntress's teasing.
"You're late too you know." She rebuffed.
"No, we're not." Ruby replied smugly.
Damian nods his head and begins to explain why.
"We were just helping Ms. Mendeleiev carry some equipment to her class."
Marinette groans in annoyance, "Whatever."
Ruby and Damian looked at each other and just smiled in amusement.
Grabbing the door handle, the three friends walked in.
But to their shock everyone was sitting next to someone.
Nathaniel was sitting next to Chloé in the front.
Ivan was sitting next to Mylène, Juleka and Rose had switched to Nathaniel's old seat.
Max and Kim were the only ones that did not change their seating.
And finally, Alix and Sabrina were sitting in Ivan's old desk.
"What the...what is this?" Damian said, confused.
Marinette and Ruby shared a confused look and then looked back at the class.
Where they noticed the annoyed looks on Chloé and Nathaniel's face.
Walking over to them, Ruby placed her hand on the desk.
"Ok, what's going on here?"
"The devil has risen from the darkest pits of hell to grace us with her vile presence." Chloé answered.
Not knowing what to make of that statement, Marinette went over to Alya to get a clear answer.
"Alya what's going on here?" She asked.
