Year 2

Here I was back in the hufflepuff common room in my robes talking to Cedric after a long summer. He was just rambling but I didn't mind. "Maddy?" He said which knocked me out of my trance. "Hm? Oh yeah?" I responded. "You ok? You seem distant" there was a hint of concern in his voice. I smiled and answered with "Of course I am! Thank you for asking tho". He smiled and hugged me. "I just wanna make sure you're ok". A light blush crept it's way onto my face. "Well thank you Cedric". He pulled away and stared into my eyes. "Your eyes are beautiful..." His voice was sweet and sincere. He was also blushing a bit. And of course my face turned a bright red. He laughed as I covered my face.
✨Time skip✨

I'm sitting in DATDA (DATDA= Defense against the dark arts) as our new teacher came in. "Let me introduce your new Defense against the dark arts teacher...✨Me✨." I rolled my eyes and leaned over to Teagan. "He's a bit full of himself don't ya think." I whispered. "Oh way more then a little M." She whispered back. He continued to talk a bit longer but since I had no interest in what he was saying I was daydreaming. I only started listening when he got on to the lesson. "I must ask you not to scream. It might...PROVOKE THEM!" He pulled a cloth off of a cage. It was full of little blue things. I heard Seamus say "Cornish pixies?" He laughed. "Freshly caught Cornish pixies!" I rolled my eyes again. "Let's see what you make of them!" He opened the cage and they flew out all around the room. Everyone got up and ran out screaming including Baylee and Shayden. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Teagan and I were the only one left in the class. "If you could just nip the res of them back into their cage" Professor Lockheart said then ran and hid in his office. I looked at Teagan and we just left. We parted ways and I found Cedric and Hannah coming out  of potions. "Hey guys!" I called out to them and they came over. Cedric looked embarrassed and Hannah was smiling. She pulled me aside and whispered "Maddy! Cedric likes you back! Well he doesn't know that you like him but you should ask him out!" I went red "He does?! Uh ok ok I'll ask him later after dinner."  I whispered back. We walked back over to Cedric and he shot her look. He seemed to be saying "You better not have told her!." She just smiled "Wellll I've gotta get to herbology. See you two later" She winked at me then walked off. "So uh ready for transfiguration?" Cedric asked. He was a bit tight and awkward. "Mhm!" I pulled him towards class. He was blushing like crazy but I pretended not to notice. We reached class and I sat next to him.

I was walking into the common room next to Cedric. "Hey Ced?" I asked. "Yeah?" He answered facing me. "Uh well uh...will you go-" I was interrupted by Hannah running in "Mr.Filtches cat was petrified!" She was panting. I assume she ran all the way here. "By what?!" I asked. "They don't know" She replied. "But when they do I'll tell you. Night!." She went off to bed. I started heading to bed too. "Hey Maddy! You didn't finish what you were saying!" Cedric called after me. "Oh yeah!" I walked back over to him "I was gonna ask if...if you would be my boyfriend?" I looked down afraid if his answer. Even tho he liked me he could still turn me down. "Is that a joke?! Yes! I would love to be your boyfriend!" He picked me up and spun me around. I giggled and hugged him. A huge smile broke out on my face. He set me down and gently placed his lips onto mine. He was a good kisser but he pulled away after about 20 seconds. "We should probably go to bed now." He said. I nodded and we said goodnight then headed up to our dormitories. I changed then grabbed my pillow and squealed into it. I woke up in the morning to Hannah shaking me. "MADDY! ANOTHER PERSON WAS PETRIFIED!"....
