She watched the girls leave the island, and when they finally vanished, she stopped staring and sighed to herself.
Eugen: Looks like that can of worms is begging to be opened. I should clean up the place and get out of here
She went past a few bushes, stumbling upon the Siren she just killed, which was hung up by its feet and had its throat slit almost to the spine.
She dropped the body and dragged it to the ocean, throwing it in and letting the waves take it away. After several long minutes, they were all thrown in.
She sat on a stone near the water, cleaning her blades that she used to kill the Sirens with, especially the pinned one.
...
Eugen: Done!
She held it up as the sword glistened under the sun's light.
Eugen: Now that you're squeaky clean, are you ready to go hunting with mama?
She sheathed the blade into her riggings and stepped onto the water, all before she felt a small disturbance happen nearby. She smiled as she looked over to it, sailing in that direction.
Eugen: Ironblood and everyone there can wait, whatever this is, I gotta see it

Atago: Takao, are you ok?
Takao: Hm? I'm fine sister, just a bit nervous is all
Atago: My~, you being nervous of all people? That's strange
Ayanami: Please stop, the Sirens are ahead of us and we don't want to lose the surprise
Atago did want to continue, but Takao raised her hand and silenced her. The group sailed onwards with small air support from Zuikaku who stood back as the battle was going to start soon.
...
Takao: Hold on, are those human ones?
Atago:...It seems so. This is going to be quite troublesome to deal with
Ayanami said nothing, but she drew her sword and got ready for combat. Takao and Atago rested their hands on their blades and sailed forward to meet the fleet.
*kzzzzt*
Zuikaku:*radio* Takao, Takao do you hear me?
Takao:*radio* Yes, is there something wrong?
Zuikaku:*radio* My scouts have picked up strange activity from the Sirens, almost...like they were fighting themselves
Takao: Themselves? What could she mean?
Takao:*radio* Thank you for the update Zuikaku
She put the radio down looking to the other two, who heard the conversation as well.
Takao: Are you ready?
Ayanami: I am
Atago: As am I
Takao nodded, drawing her sword and firing towards the Sirens, destroying one of them.
Takao: Destroy them all!
Ayanami took the initiative and sailed left, deploying a few torpedos as she did. Takao and Atago both went right and fired into the large gathering of Sirens.
Atago: It would have been helpful to call for reinforcements you know!
Takao: We are strong sister, we can handle this group ourselves
Atago:*sigh* That pride might be your fall one day, remember that
Zuikaku's bombers sped past the AA and dropped on the ships, detonating a few of them and making it easier on the mobile ships.
