...

Azrael: Yep, this is pretty good

It had been several days since she had escaped from Ironblood, fleeing to the Royal Isles to lay low and relax for a while. She honestly hasn't seen much of it during her times before the purge, and afterwards was out of the question since it was all rubble.

Waiter: Is there anything else you'd like?

She looked up to the man, he was the waiter currently on shift and was very kind.

Azrael: No, I'll be fine

Waiter: I hope you enjoy then

He walked off as she returned to her biscuits and tea.

Azrael: It's so simple as a meal, yet it's all you need. You Royals really do know how to treat yourselves...just hope the hygiene gets better soon

Biting down on the biscuit, she suddenly felt eyes burning into her skull. She knew someone was staring, but she didn't want to make it obvious.

Azrael: My mask is off, so I just hope it's someone that doesn't know Eugen and just wants a piece of my ass, makes it much easier

Finishing the plate, she downed the tea and set the cup aside. She put the money required underneath the plate and told someone, then left the establishment.

Azrael: Of course it's raining...

Ducking into and alley, she summoned her rig and grabbed an umbrella she...bought...earlier.

Azrael: Always pays to be prepared...also pays to be in the shitty parts of the town when some mugger tries to nab you

Right now she was in the city of Portsmouth, which held several warships in it. That meant one thing and one thing only.

Azrael: Ship girls...

...

Azrael: Eh, never had beef with them, so as long as they don't do anything to me I'll do nothing to them

She held the umbrella over her head and kept walking down the street. Most of the people she ran into were dealing with the rain in their own ways, most with an umbrella, but some with their coats or items they held.

She also noticed the stares of the children that sat in front of a building, hiding under the awning.

Azrael: Is there something you kids need?

One of the boys walked forward and bit and pointed at her head.

Boy: Are those horns?

Azrael: Yes they are, I can't remove them either

Girl: Are you a demon?

...

Azrael:*smiles* No, I'm not a demon

Boy: Then...what are you?

Azrael bent down and held her hand out to the kids. They both watched with amazement as blue cubes danced between her fingers and retreated back into her coat.

Azrael: Now you know

Girl: You're a shipgirl?! I've always wanted to meet one!

She knew that attracted attention, but she didn't mind since only an idiot would attack one, especially her.

Azrael: I am, but I really don't care for it

Boy: What's your name ma'am? Are you one of the ships in port?
