Beyond the FLAT

(sorry for staying inactiveee, i was very busy with some things but i am back now yayyy. lacking motivation again ;( btwwwwww after i complete this book, i will start a new one so plsss stay tunedddddd)

It was 21st December. Christmas was just around the corner, but the lass wasn't delighted about it. The only thing she had on her mind right now was the other dimension and every human being or thing related to it. She was worried and scared to discuss about it with her grandmother too since she feared she would be a disgrace to the family or basically the murderer of her own family. Her mother forcefully took her to the store to buy some necessities, decorations and other things required for the occasion. Her younger brother was also born on the same day as Christmas so they had to prepare extra gifts for him too. She had already prepared her wish list. With a light hint of sadness still present in her heart, she went with her mom. They bought many things and the girl got pretty bored since she had nothing to do other than help her mom carry the stuff. (NOTE: please don't attack me for any wrong details since i don't celebrate christmas and i tried my best to know everything i needed to know, thanks!)

It was the night before  christmas and the younger boy couldn't sleep because of excitement. It was past midnight so he got up quietly and walked out of his room and he saw something which he would never forget all his life and it was his father putting gifts near the christmas tree. They made eye contact and that's when his childhood innocence disappeared. His belief in santa claus vanished.  

It was finally christmas and she could hear her brother's footsteps. He came rushing to her room and jumped on his sister. Out of breath, she exclaimed, "GET OFF ME U LITTLE BRAT." Ignoring her comments, he ran about the room shouting, "weeheeeeeee it's christmas and my birthdayyyy let's go to open the giftsssssss." "k let's gooooo."

They opened their gifts, not to mention that it was a chaotic mess. 

The mess:

The young lad opened his gift and a loud shriek could be heard, "OMG YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY THANK YOU SO MUCH DAD FOR PUTTING THIS THEREEE OMG YAYYY."

Confused, mom and grandma looked at dad asking how the boy came to know about the person who kept the gifts there. The dad signaled them that he would be disclosing the matter later. 

After everything was done (including breakfast), the girl made her way to her room. She sat down on her bed and her eyes wandered around in the whole room. She was disturbed, mentally. She knew that the safety of her family depended on her and she had to do something to get there. Confused and sad was all she could feel. She remembered her family's happy faces and just the thought of these pretty smiles disappearing made her teary-eyed. "how can i lose them?" 

Things were already bad but they eventually got even worse when her result came. Her grades were worse than ever and she was terrified to show it to her parents. She had to and she did but the thing is that she got grounded for a week. She had nothing to do so she started to think of all the things she could do in order to reach the other world. Her main purpose of everything in life was not to give up easily so keeping this in mind, she continued her thinking.
