Finally after my week long promise was over I present the next chapter of my book Yes I'm a Rogue, and your still a jerk. I hope you remember your three jobs that pertain to reading this book because I don't want to type them agian.

Chapter 5

Zeke's POV

I stared out the window watching my beautiful Echo, my mate walking away from my home again. I was reminded of a time long ago when I had been staring out of the window upstairs in my old bedroom where, just like before I had watched this same girl that I had hurt so long ago walk away from everything that we had shared as kids again. This place had always been good enough for me so why wouldn't it be for my mate?

I stared as her headlights vanished around the bend and she was gone. Well I promised her that I would go after her only until the morning came. And the sun will rise in exactly six hours besides, how far away can she get?

Echo

I drove till I got to the boarder of Wyoming and Colorado. Fortunately there was a small town with a motel in it. By the time I got to the town it was almost two in the morning and I hd left at eleven fifteen at night. So ya I'm a little exhausted right now. Sighing I parked and grabbed one of my suitcases and went inside to rent a room.

I got to the room and instantly I crawled into the bed and set my alarm for four in the morning. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out. I soon dreamed my favorite kind of dreams, a dreamless sleep, which was disturbed two hours later. I got up and grabbed my phone insantly fom my bag. Two missed calls and twenty new texts, I feel so popular!

One was from an unknown caller and the other was from CeeCee. I listened to CeeCee first naturally.

"Hey Echo, I haven't heard from you for so long that I had almost thought that you had forgotten me. So why don't you come and see me and my brother and sister-in-law in their home in New Mexico. I'll be staying there for a few more days then I need to go do a science fair show on Saterday in Salt Lake City. Hopefully I can see you while I'm here in America. Hope to see you soon." I missed CeeCee she may not sound it on the phone but she is flighty and is really a lot of fun.

I smiled at the memory of our time together in Europe. We had a blast before the pack there had caught wind of me.

Sure some rogues wanted to rule a pack of there own, but there was some of us who didn't want to be in a pack, we just wanted our freedom from the pack. The release of responsibility of having to care for others like what Zeke wanted me to do, but I could not accept that responsibility that he wanted me to take. I refuse to have to deal with others who feel the need to share their pain. I am no mother I have no want to have to care for others yet.

I drove down the rode headed for Salt Lake I had some pace there that I could lay low for a few days. I knew how to hide myself pretty good in a croud. And with such a large group of people living in Salt Lake it would be easy.

I clicked on the other message. "Echo, I know I'm the last person you probably expected to get a call from let alone a voice message but this is Jake. Look I did not expect you to be Zeke's mate but I guess I can see how you two would be together. From what I have heard about you from my amazing mate. (That would be Ashlyn) You would do good for him." Pft what does that jerk know.

"Before you hang up you should know that Zeke will hunt you down and mate you on the spot. He really has cared for you all this time." I doubt it, but I kept on listening.

"I don't like rogues and I know that you are one, so I want you to know I will get to know you better. Ashlyn and I hope that you and Zeke can be happy together." Not likely. "Good luck avoiding him." A voice in the back grounnd spoke up. 

"Come on Jake we need to get ready so that we can go get her before she's gone for good!" I heard Zeke's voice and my heart learched. No I don't love Zeke I hate him and I hate that I'm his mate he has rejected me. Or will he? a part of me thought. That doubt was wiped away. Of course he would he already had.

"All right I have to go I'll try to give you as much space as I can. I had better go." The dial tone came on. What is the deal with that beta.
