Chapter 3

Echo

I awoke with a start only to see the person that I had least expected to see Makayla Almond was stairing down at me and was shaking my sholdures madly like some crazy psychotic person on drugs trying to wake up a stoned person. And that was the moment that I realized that my comparisons really such when I'm just waking up, or really being woken up by somebody I still don't know what is worse.

"There you are sleepy head. Come on let's get you ready for you to meet our alpha. He's been waiting to see you for some time come on lazy bones get your butt out of bed!"

"Uh okay, if I may ask one question really fast, it's actually a really stupid question well okay it's not  but what are you doing in my room?"

I asked sitting up from my sleeping postion which turned out to be my feet on my pillow and my head at the bottom of the bed. So when I sat up I was facing a very boring and entertaining wall.

"The alpha told us that we where to come and help you get ready for when he summoned you which he guessed would be in about twenty minutes which doesn't give us much time I'm afraid."

Makayla said. Instantly Ashlyn stepped around the courner of the bathroom. "It's about time you woke her up I still think that we should have moved her back into the right position of sleeping and seeing if that woke up the sleeping beauty."

Ashlyn was and might still be Zeke's girlfriend surprisingly enough these people used to be my friends. That is until, well I didn't want to think about it again.

Shaking my head slightly I got out of the very comfortable bed and went to stand by Ashlyn.

"Hey Echo I, well I was wonderring if you, well if we could talk for a second?"Ashlyn whispered. I don't know if it was just me or if my mere pressance was making this b*tch nervous or if it was the fact that my hair wasn't perfect.

"Sure what's on your mind?" I whispered back just as quietly so that only Ashlyn could hear and Makayla could continue her observation of my clothes in peace. I couldn't help but wonderring what seh was expecting them to do? Jump up and start doing the momba or the funky chicken I couldn't tell.

"Echo I just wanted to apologize for being a jerk to you when we where younger. I was a bitch to you and I know that I shouldn't have I was an idiot. I know that Zeke would apologize too if it wouldn't ruin his reputation."

And that is what pissed me off.

Louder by just a bit I siad. "Oh ya that's right because you would know everything about your alpha since you are what his snuggle buddy in bed? Well you know what you can't know what Zeke thinks and he has been a jerk to me and I will never forgive him or you."
