Chapter 4: Zodian Powers, A Traitor

"Ok, your Zodian abilities is Capricorn; Wind of Light, Hyper Sound, Quick Step, and Chamber of Slumber. Try using Quick Step, it's very easy to learn while Wind of Light and Chamber of Slumber are more advanced." Scorpio instructed. Blixer nodded and try to focus his energy, "Quick Step!" Blixer ran but didn't felt really fast. Scorpio chuckled and stopped Blixer from running, "I'll show you how it works." Scorpio stood in a battle position. He face to a random tree and pointed at it, "Scorpio power: Storm of Blades!" blades of energy rained down at the tree. "Like that, now try again." Blixer nodded and took a deep breath, "Capricorn power: Quick Step!" Blixer ran again and this time he felt becoming faster. Blixer made quick turns around each tree he sees, then returned to Scorpio and stopped running. "That was amazing! I feel like I was super fast with thos quick turns! It's like I have the zoomies!" Blixer told him smiling.

"Ok, next you need to use Hyper Sound. Try aiming it at a tree, all you do is scream at the top of your lungs like your angry at something." Scorpio told him as he proceeds to cover his ears. "Capricorn power: HYPER SOUND!!!!!!!!" Blixer yelled as he said the ability's name, it caused him to create massive soundwave that blew away a few trees. Scorpio uncovered his ears and saw the damage, "Maybe using Hyper Sound here is a bad idea..." Scorpio actually didn't expect Blixer's Hyper Sound to be THAT powerful. Then he heard Blixer coughing, "I think it hurts my throat..." Blixer's voice was croaked. "We should take a break, soon you will learn Wind of Light and Chamber of Slumber." the two rested under the Treeangle. Scorpio seems worried about something that was discussed earlier. Or something worse with Glitch....

Earlier before the training,
A meeting was going on at Paradise Kingdom, the four kingdoms along with the Void Guardians and Void Reapers are in the meeting room to discuss something. "As you are wondering why I gather you all here, there IS a second traitor amongst us. Due to thinking Break Free is the only traitor, I realized there is a second traitor that needs to be dealt with." King Glitch said. "Is there any evidence of the second traitor?" Silence asked, "I'm afraid not, they never leave a trace behind. It's like they knew when they leave one and got rid of it. Chronos, do you know their next move in the future?" Glitch asked Chronos. She checked the present and future sight, but no luck what so ever. "I got nothing, it's like they have support to keep off their trail." Chronos told him, "Shit, it's like they are one step ahead of us. Usurper, do you have any subjects that fell to the corruption?" "Not a single one, the kingdom that mostly have corruption anomalies is Paradise Kingdom." King Glitch sighed and sat in his chair.

"So we all know it was MoC's plan to target Paradise Kingdom. Lady Devotion, was there any corruption?" He asked the husky blossom hybrid. "Yea, some were affected by corruption. Even some bi-color shapes are born with corruption as their second color." Then King Anubis raised his hand. "What if a corrupted is the traitor? Perhaps maybe...Blix-" King Glitch slammed his fist on the table, "DON'T YOU SAY MY SON IS THE TRAITOR!! HE'S A YOUNG BOY THAT IS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER CORRUPTEDS!!" he yelled. "I'm just saying, MoC is the creator of corruption and Blixer is a corrupted." It's understandable that King Anubis dislikes corruption of all forms. He was forced to mummified a bi-color shape with corruption as the second color, he didn't even end that poor shapes misery. So he just blames the corruption for this, but it's kinda rude to think Prince Blixer's the traitor. "Why not ask Lacey? She's basically your best Sage in Paradise Kingdom." Scorpio asked, "I did earlier, she said that the traitor also hides their identity. How do we know who's the traitor?" Truth raised her hand, "How about Botanical use her Dreamscape powers to check. MoC can do communication through dreams of shapes." "Perhaps that might be a good idea, we should gather everyone!" Then one of time halos rung which made Chronos sigh in sadness. "Sorry guys, I need to get back to my post now." Chronos got up from her chair and rushed out the doors, "It's alright, we can do this another time. Meeting over!" Everyone returns to their homes and kingdoms, Glitch is not giving up on finding the traitor.

Scorpio stayed to peek, Glitch was organizing some stuff until he roughly coughed out corruption. Scorpio silently gasp from that, "Damn it, it's just keep getting worse. Whoever plagued me with this must be working with MoC, I'm stronger than that! I will not let corruption kill me!" Scorpio kept silent the whole time. Glitch walked out and was spooked by Scorpio, "How long were you listen?" "Everything, you are infected by the great corrupted plague! Did you even tell Queen Checkpoint and Prince Blixer about this!?" Scorpio is very worried about the king. "I did think about it, but Chronos said they might get scared of me becoming a monster and stays away. She knows anything about the future, I'm trusting her on this." it's true, Chronos is the only shape that can see time. He have choice but to keep it a secret.

Now with Scorpio and Blixer,
Scorpio is having the urge to tell him what's happening to Glitch, but he's having second thoughts about telling him. Scorpio wished that his siblings were still alive to give him advice of which is right or wrong.

Meanwhile at the forest...
"Mother of Corruption, Charm Hypnosis went perfectly smooth. Now Glitch won't tell Checkpoint and Blixer, and Scorpio will have trouble of if he could tell Blixer or not."

"Wonderful Chronos, now they won't know and find a cure to my corrupted plague, you are a real help when I need one sad for Break Free to get caught. But you know your role here, keep a low profile and pretend you're against me."

"I know, I'm really good at making things convincing! And if a shape noticed something wrong or was spying..."

Chronos suddenly grabbed a mage that was using his invisibility magic, she looked at the mage's eyes. Suddenly, her left side has changed into corruption as she punctured her claw in the mage's chest.

"I will get rid of them before they speak to anyone!!"

Chronos injected pure corruption into the mage and he screamed in pain, his form cracked and shattered into dust.

"Those mortal shapes have done nothing good for me, I want to get rid of the cold-hearted! The ones that brought me despair!!"

Chronos then went back to the void like nothing happened...
