Chapter 5: Visiting Shovel Kingdom

3 years later,
King Glitch decided to visit Shovel Kingdom and bringing Prince Blixer along, Checkpoint was concerned but Glitch promise to keep their son safe. Blixer is now 10-years old, he's old enough to visit Shovel Kingdom. "Look son, Shovel Kingdom is a wonderful place. I've been there while their king visited ours many times. Behave while me and King Usurper have a chat." Blixer nodded and waited the whole ship ride.

Shovel Kingdom have really good mideval themed aesthetics, the weird part of it is the shovels as weapons kind of thing. "We're near his castle, remember what I said about behaving. King Usurper still shaken up on what happened to his childhood friend." Blixer is confused on what happened, but he's afraid to ask about it since his father fought in it.

They arrived at the throne room, a gray shape with a crown is talking to a red wisp shape. The wisp's robes seems to be ragged, he even speaking in french to the king. "You and the Void Reapers are very welcome to visit Shovel Kingdom, I wish you luck on your first day of your role Macabre." he shook hands with the shape named Macabre. Macabre nodded and teleported away, "Who was that Usurper?" "That was Macabre, Void Reaper of Death. He just became one after Silence was a Void Reaper to lead the souls to the afterlife. He mistaken me for someone else, but we had a chat for a while." Usurper explained. Glitch nodded and the two began chatting about the future of all four kingdoms.

Blixer is waiting and behaving while the two kings are having a conversation, then he saw a lime green shape around his age. He was swinging a toy shovel, the kid seems alone in that room. Blixer decided to leave the two kings to talk. He peaked to see that boy summoning shovels out of thin air, leading them to every direction and making them flow like a river. But the boy felt a headache, causing the magic shovels to disappear. "Ow ow ow ow...." he was clenching his head, Blixer came in out of worriness.

"Hey, are you ok? You must've have a nasty headache." the lime shape nodded an looked at Blixer, "Who are you? I never seen you around Shovel Kingdom before." the boy said. "My name is Blixer, I'm the prince of Paradise Kingdom and heir to the throne. What's your name?" the kid was nervous but has enough courage to introduce himself, "My name is Striker, I'm the heir of the captain of the Royal Guards. I've inherited my father's powers and magic, he told me that it will take a while to fully control them without getting a splitting headache." Striker told Blixer. The pink prince smiled in excitement, "You're training your powers too? I'm training my Zodian abilities so I could protect my people when I become king!" Striker looked surprised. "Zodian abilities!? You are luck to be born with those! Your powers can even surpass mine!" "Trust me, you know Zodian abilities will take longer than yours to control." the two boys are having fun chatting.

As the two kings are chatting, Usurper noticed Glitch barely showing his left arm. "Glitch, I know this a different subject but I want to know why your hiding your right arm?" he asked. "Usurper, I was going to discuss about this..." he revealed his left arm is a mix of pink and gray, but it seems the pink parts are slowly spreading. "Please don't tell me..." "Unfortunately I became a victim of the great corrupted plague, I'm surisingly not contagious. I tried to use the Great Treeangle to cure it, but I sense no presence from it. I'm worried that the future will be dark..." this has brought concerns to Usurper. "I wish I could help, but my scepter can only keep me alive. It has no ability of healing could corruption, I'm sorry..." "No need, I will be fine on my own but I appreciate your attempt to help me."

Glitch and Blixer returned to the ship, "So, made any new friends?" "Only one, his name is Striker and he's the son of Usurper's Royal Guard Captain. He seems very nice tho!" Glitch smile and ruffled his son's tuff of fluff hair. "It's nice making friends, I'm glad you won't be alone." Glitch is worried about Blixer's future, he was told by Chronos that the future will be attacked by a king in pink with a smile of corruption. He's afraid of what his son will become, it will be a long trip back so they have to sleep for the night until they arrive back.

Inside Glitch's mindscape,
"Hello? Blixer?" "HELP ME DAD!!!" he ran to the direction of Blixer's screaming for help, he then saw the entity known as Mother of Corruption. She have Blixer sleeping on her lap, "My apologies, I have to force your son to sleep. You know that he's made from your two sins, Pride and Wrath. Very interesting combo for a child to have as a corrupted, don't you think?" the lady have her usual creepy smile. Glitch was about to attack until she stopped him with her pink strings that's attached to her fingers, "Now you won't want to hurt you son in the process, would you? If you shatter me and him, Blixer won't have a conscious to wake up." she chuckled, "What do you want from me, you horrid abomination of corruption?" Glitch asked with a glare at MoC.

"I know you are plagued with the corruption, I know your true corrupted form. If you keep my gift, I will not bring harm to the kingdom. If you try to get rid of it, you can say goodbye to your family and friends starting with your son here!" her hand formed into a large needle and it pointed at Blixer's sleeping head. "Fine! I'll keep it! But you have to tell me what true corruption form I possessed." MoC's hand turned back and giggled, "You inherited the most powerful form I created with my own corruption called The Centipede Beast. And since you have a son born from YOUR corruption, he will be the next to inherit it once you die." Mother of Corruption got up and twirled with Blixer in her arms. "I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO-" he froze at the sight of the pink entity pointing her umbrella weapon at Blixer. MoC's facial expression went from happy to a glaring anger, "You won't allow me to WHAT? Remember what happened when you refuse...." "N-Nothing!" Glitch felt so powerless against her. MoC put her umbrella away, she gave Blixer back to Glitch and disappears. "Till we meet again, The Centipede Beast." her voice echoed in the dreamscape.

In the morning,
Glitch jolted up and was breathing heavily, it felt so real an yet it was a dream. He checked if Blixer is okay, the gray king sigh in relief. His wife would kill him if she saw a scratch on Blixer, but the most concerned to it however was the fact that he have the most dangerous and life threatening form. Now he's afraid of what the future holds as the corruption on his arm continues to spread...
