Fan Theory One - What Made Them Hate Each Other?

Obviously, Sam and Freddie met each other through Carly, who was basically glue, that held those two together.

Fanfiction writers can easily go crazy with what made them hate each other, but since this book is all about what made sense, with proof that can be seen in the show, then, we'll need to put our brains to it.

It's most likely because of their very different personalities. 

Sam's an abrasive, tomboyish girl, who can be a bully sometimes, if you upset her, and Freddie's literally a nerd. No other words.

It's very natural for them to get annoyed at each other from the start, but it wouldn't be interesting if we stopped there. 

We know that Sam has a very short temper, so she could've injured/attacked Freddie for being so nerdy and irritating.

When they were dating in iDate Sam and Freddie, Sam mentioned that she had pushed Freddie in front of a bike messenger, and he knocked him onto a fire hydrant. That could be when they first met. 

She also mentioned that was when she first started liking him. (So... that means she liked him from the very start, which is also very possible, given all the hints of attraction she's given him from the start. Spoiler: that's the next theory)

Freddie then mentioned, he had a hearing loss. If the bike-messenger-and-fire-hydrant incident was really when they first met, that must've caused him to hate Sam so much.

According to the official Seddie Wiki/iCarly Wiki, some people believe that Sam and Freddie could've dated before their first interaction on-screen, and maybe Freddie/Sam could've broken the other's heart, and that made them hate each other.

As much as I want it to be true, I really don't think it is. Maybe, it could be, but it's just less possible, as that they've never mentioned that in the show. 

But there is also some possible evidence that the theory could be true: 

- Sam kept saying 'Carly will never love you' in Season One, making it possible that she was jealous of his affection for Carly, instead of her.

- They argue like an old married couple.

- It is kind of confirmed that Sam is jealous of Freddie's affection for Carly in the Creddie dance in iSpeed Date.

If this theory is true, it's more likely that Freddie broke Sam's heart, since Sam seems to be the one who's jealous, and has a crush on him.

(Also, this theory reminds me of the two robots who seem to be dating at the Bots restaurant in Sam & Cat XD)

However, when they dated, they never mentioned anything about them dating when they were younger, furthermore convincing me this theory is FALSE.

The most likely response to this question is they just naturally hated each other from the start.
