X-Force: ???, ??? ------------- The sheirff of the small town you and Sage took by storm laid in a hospital bed. Rightfully so, after the thrashing you gave him. But you weren't too rough on him.
He only had a broken leg and a broken neck. Maybe some broken ribs, too. You didn't have X-Ray vision.
Yet.
He groaned in pain as he found himself stuck in the dark room once again. The TV remote was too far and he couldn't exactly move to grab it.
???: My, that does look painful.
The sheriff looked up towards the dark corner of the room. He tried to sit up, but couldn't due to his current state. He couldn't even talk with his dislocated jaw.
???: No need to move, comrade. I just need you to write down whatever you told Tag.
He handed the crippled man a notepad and a pen.
???: Remember, penmanship counts.
It was a few moments later when the mysterious man was walking out the back of hospital. He looked over the notebook and nodded.
???: I see. You've been busy, Y/N. But don't worry, you're old friend Colossus will be there soon.

X-Men
You leaned against the light post as you watched in both awe and confusion as the Apple Festival took place. Everyone wore red and there were dozens of stalls set up around the park. Apple Pie, Carmel Apples, Apple Candy, Apple Ale.
Y/N: These people sure do love their Apples around here.
Sage: Tell me about it.
You looked to your partner who was eating the Carmel Apple she had bought earlier. You just shrugged.
You were still trying to wrap your head around everything. How was this place related to Shadow-X? This place seemed like the ideal small town. Though, you did take note of the lack of children around here.
It creeped you out more than anything that they still hired a clown regardless.
Sage: I'm going to go check out that stall.
You just nodded and she left. She was a brilliant person, smarter than you by a million, but you still didn't really know much about her. But she was here helping you track down Shadow-X, so you knew she was at least on your side.
You suddenly found a plate with a slice of pie on it in your face. You looked to see a woman holding it. A very familiar looking woman.
