The next morning hit the Nair mansion like a storm. What happened was totally unexpected............

Few hours back

Radhika knocked Nithya's room door for the third time.

" Nithya, open the door" she knocked again.
After getting no response from inside, she pushed the door with a little force and realized it was not locked.

" Nithya, where are you?" She checked the room but couldn't find Nithya.
After that, she checked the entire house, but couldn't find any trace of her daughter.

"Radhika, Why are you yelling in the morning?" Vinod ( Nithya's dad)asked with irritation.

" Nithya....is missing" she said with shaking voice.

"Missing? What nonsense? She must be here. Check everywhere." He snapped.

" I have checked everywhere. She is not here". She said and tears brimmed  her eyes.

" This girl won't let me live in peace " he muttered with rage and rushed towards her room.

He opened her cupboard. Everything was there except her certificates.

" Ohh... That means she eloped" he muttered in a dangerous tone.

" No,no my daughter won't do that. Let's file a police complaint" Radhika said with fidgeting hands.

" Shut up!!! I know what to do. Call her number" he snapped and she shivered with fear.

Radhika was well aware of her husband's anger. He is not a human. He is a beast. If he gets angry, he will burn the entire world. The bruises in her body are the illustration of his anger. His belt was his favorite weapon.

Without wasting a second she dialed Nithya's number. The mobile  ringed under her bed. Vinod took it immediately and threw it on the floor,  breaking it to pieces.

" Call her friend, that girl, Swathi" he yelled at the top of his voice.

After a few rings, Swathi pick up the phone.

" He...l...l..ooo" she said in a sleepy voice.

" Swathi, Is Nithya with you.." before Radhika could complete he snatched the phone .

" Where is my daughter? I know she is with you. Ask her to come home immediately. Otherwise the consequences will be harsh." He said with full rage but his words didn't affect our drama queen.

" Oh hello Uncle, Please calm down. Otherwise your blood pressure will rise and you will die soon. And about Nithya, She was with you in your house. Then, why are you asking me now?"  She said in a carefree tone.

" I will give you 24 hours. Ask her to come home. If I find her myself, then I will burn her alive" he said and hung up the call.

" I think we should inform the police" Radhika muttered in a low voice.

" What? Say that again"he snapped and before she could say  something a slap landed on her cheek.

" It's all because of  you. Because of your upbringing . I told you to abort that piece of shit, but you never listened to me. You ruined my dream of having a male child. Now your daughter ruined my honour." He said and slapped her again.
