No Late Day pt.3

Narrator POV

[Today, 30 minutes remaining!]

Out heroes slowly but surely traversed the obstacle course in the armored bus as it was shot at by civilians on all sides.

Ryuko: THEY'RE NOT LETTIN' UP!

Silvic: THANK MOBIUS FOR ARMOR PLATING!

Mako: TIME FOR A COUNTERATTACK!

Ryuko and Manic: WITH WHAT!?

Sonow: WITH THIS!

Sonow then leaned next to Maiko and slammed on a big red button. Behind them a mounted turret rose from under Mako and planted it's self above the bus.

Mako: OH!

Mako then gently pushed down the triggers, causing the gun to fire  at rapid speed. When the bullets caused the condos to explode.

Mako: HAHA! Y/N, RYUKO, MANIC, YOU GOTTA GET UP HERE AND TRY THIS!

Ryuko: GET DOWN, MAKO! IT'S NOT SAFE!

Silvic: DON'T LISTEN TO HER! FIRE THAT THING WITH RECKLESS ABANDON!

Mako didn't listen to either of them as she was in her own little world. They then looked up to see an elderly couple holding a rocket launcher.

Shaver: R.P.G!

Ryuko: RETRACT THE TURRET!

Shaver hit the button again, causing the turret to lower back into the bus.

Manic: OH OK THAT'S IT!

Manic then grab Y/n and jumped and stood on top of the bus roof.

Ryuko: MANIC AND Y/N?! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING!? Y'ALL ARE TRYING TO GET HURT!?

Manic: NO ONE FIRES ROCKET AT ME AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!

Manic hands started to glow.

Manic: SONIC WIND!

Manic then waved his hand to unleashed a chaos energy to destroy the rocket, this shocked Y/n. Meanwhile, Mako was still shooting the turret inside the bus, causing the roof to disconnect from the rest of the bus and slowly slide off. Manic and Y/n saw this and quickly jumped back into and Y/n landed on his face while Manic landed on his feet.

Ryuko: HOLY SHIT MANIC! HOW DID YOU DO THAT!?

Manic: I'LL EXPLAIN LATER! LET'S FOCUS ON NOT DYING ON OUR MORNING COMMUTE!

The bus's roof had fully slide off, causing Mako to smile.

Mako: I like riding in convertibles!

Maiko: A little further and we're in the Two-Star district

                                                 *FWOOSH!*

Sonow: INCOMING! MORE R.P.G.S! AT 12 O'CLOCK!

Ryuko: MAIKO! PUNCH IT! MANIC-

Manic: CONTINUE TO BE A BADASS? SURE THING!

Ryuko slammed on the gas with Maiko while Manic stood in front and  use Sonic Wind, but two of them got past him. Exploding the ground behind them, causing an explosion that send the bus flying through the air in slow motion sequence filled with classical music song.

Y/n, Mako, Ryuko, Manic, Shaver, Sonow, Silvic, and Maiko: WWWAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

Then the 8 of them continued to fly past all the other obstacles right towards Honnōji's courtyard. They then flew in between the giant gate, causing the sides of the bus to be ripped off. As they flew through the gate the bus got destroyed more and more, until they made it to the other side where the bus was reduced to scrape.
