"How's your date with Joshua? I see you spent your weekends together, huh?" Mrs. Lincoln moves her chair close to me like she's waiting for me to tell her some gossips.

I scoffs, "It was good. We actually went back to my house in Florida. And it seems like my family like him which I'm so glad they are." I left the fighting part and at least I'm not lying about the went to my family's house.

"That's good, then. How about you? Have you seen his family?"

"Hm, not yet. Just Irene."

"That's okay. You can take your time. And actually knowing that he has already met your family shows improvement in your relationship. You guys are serious in this, huh?"

I blush at her remarks about saying thay I might want to marry him one day. "We haven't talk about it yet because we're still new in this. But, if you ask me," I look around, trying to see if anyone could hear us. I mean, it's the library. It's always quiet and some people might hear our conversation. Who knows?

I continue when I see no one is paying attention to us, "I might be stupid if I don't want to be serious with him."

"Ooh. That's my girl. He's quite a catch too actually. Anyone would want to be with him. Make sure you take care of him properly." She winks.

I just smile and shake my head a little at her silliness. Then, I continue to reply more emails that we got.

"Uhm, Steph?" I look up when I hear someone calls my name.

I look at Sam, "Yes?"

"Can you help me find this one book? I try to look for it for 10 minutes but I don't seem to find it."

Without hesitation, I nod, "Sure." I stand up and fix my slacks before I stride to him and ask for the title.

I follow him to the shelf and I found that he just got the genre wrong. "Ah, this one is actually Geography, not History. That's why you can't find it. Here, let me check."

I walk with him to the History section and I start looking up for the author's name. When I see his name, I point it up, "That one. I can't reach that. Can you?" Of course, he can. That's why I ask him.

But, before I have the chance to move, he stands behind me, trapping me in between his body and the shelf. I can't move anywhere while he tiptoes to get the book so I just stand there, wide-eyed. He purposely did that, right? He expected to get butterflies, doesn't he?

Just when he dropped to his feet again, we hear someone clears their throat which makes us shift our attention to the owner of the voice.

I gape, "Josh?"

He smiles, "Hi, baby."

"H-hi. What are you doing here?" I walk to him and finally be able to let myself away from Sam. I'm actually glad that he comes even though I'm quite shocked.

He grabs my hand and gives my temple a kiss before he says, "To take you for lunch? I told you this morning before we're going to work. You forgot that?"

I make a confuse face because as far as I know, we haven't plan anything for lunch. Then, he moves his eyes to the end of them to point at Sam. Okay, so he's doing it to let me get away from Sam. He's smart.

"Oh, right. I almost forgot." I check my wrist watch. "It's lunch time. Sorry, we were in a rush this morning, right?" I purposely said that, making it obvious that we live together. Well, for now. Joshua gives me a smirk, satisfied with my answer.

"Oh, well. This is Sam. Our new librarian." I turn my body to face him and Joshua hurriedly puts his hand around my waist.

"This is Joshua, my boyfriend."
