✧・゚: *✧・゚:*"𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐌 𝐈𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐍" the woman finished off with a warm smile in seraphina's direction, the sixteen year old girl stood at the threshold of the front door after participating in a brief conversation with her new neighbour. lilith and evangelina were no where in sight when the doorbell went off so she was the sore loser left to open the door.

"my family will really appreciate this, thank you" she thanked with a brief smile, the best she could muster. the smell of mortals was filling her senses and making her want to gag in the curly haired woman's face.

"will you be attending beacon hills high?" the woman who seraphina remembered being named melissa asked, the interest in her life making serah want to roll her eyes. if all human families were this family-oriented she may just get herself sent to babylon forever. that way she'd be away from this dreadful life she's been condemned to.

seraphina had never had a good name in heaven, all those celestial beings saw themselves as above her and her mother. all because she was raised by names such as moloch, chemosh, belial and beelzebub, away from the oh so perfect god. but she despised the place called heaven, she'd always thought of it as a way to control the souls of the lost once they died. no one could ever truly find peace after death, she'd learnt that time after time.

since the creation of humans she'd tried time and time again to exist without the burden of her name following her around. the last time she could truly remember happiness was 1692 in salem, but alas, she was a woman and she had the devils blood running through her veins.

"sarah?" melissa's voice broke the girl from her trance as she held a look of concern and worry in her dark eyes which resembled lilith's so much. where was lilith?

"me and my- sister start this year" the word bringing a bitterness to her mouth that she could not disregard, the hesitance to speak obvious. melissa didn't dwell and only gave the girl a soft smile leaving her with a parting note.

"my son scott mccall will be in your grade, if you ever need a friend" and with that melissa mccall sent a smile and left. the macaroni and cheese in the dish in seraphina's arms making its way to the kitchen counter before the girl let out a sigh.

"who was that?" evangelina asked making her way out of the downstairs bathroom, hair tied in a towel and scars on display. they littered her chest and thighs like she were born with them. but the daughters of lilith knew where they'd all come from.

"neighbour brought dinner" seraphina said with a tight lipped smile as she nodded downwards to the still seemingly hot food. the two girls stood in an awkward silence before evangelina nodded and looked downwards making her way to her room.

seraphina only stared at the wet footsteps before scoffing at her "sister". sister her ass. evangelina had never been her sister and never would be, it was her mothers particular liking to evangelina being the reason she was kept around. if not she would've been left in hell to have been raised by all the other demons just like her other "siblings"

speaking of lilith, seraphina rolled her eyes before storming to her bedroom. the woman had been more distant since their leaving. it wasn't even her choice to try the mortal life out again, if it were up to her she'd have stayed in hell with her father. he was more present at least, physically if not mentally.

the chain of arum lillies above her bed letting her drift off into a peaceful sleep filled with her sweet dorothy . the dirty blonde locks of her love and the glassy blue eyes being all she could see in the dark. seraphina hadn't always been as cruel as the books made her out to be, but everyone had their reasons and dorothy was seraphina's.

lovers so alike in soul but so different in beings. seraphina had been warned by lilith, back when she used to call her mother, about how you cannot love without causing pain. she didn't listen though. she ran from hell, into the hills and straight to salem. straight into the arms of dorothy and soon the hunters.
