✧・゚: *✧・゚:*𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐀 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐓 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐊. she had been feeling weak since she gave her energy to boyd, so as she lay in her bed that morning the thought of school didn't even cross her mind. asmodeus passed her bedroom with a glum look as he got ready for the day. he would've asked lilith for advice but the woman hadn't been seen in weeks, she had gone "out of town"

"still nothing?" evangelina asked as she waited outside of the bathroom for the boy to finish up, he zipped up his jeans well shaking his head solemnly. "it's never been this hard for her" the younger girl tried reasoning "she's always bounced back in a day"

seraphina knew it was earth that was weakening her like this, she wasn't as strong as she was when she came to earth. she couldn't control people as easier as before, she couldn't grow her horns and it hurt her whole body to grow her claws. she was losing herself and she couldn't figure out why. she would've asked lilith for help but lilith was never around.

"i can hear you" she called from her bedroom, finding the strength to sit up and call out to the two. asmodeus only shook his head well drying his hands before finding his way to the threshold of her door.

"we're only worried for you" he tried reasoning with her, his eyes staring at the arum lillies on her ceiling. they reminded him so much of dorothy. "we'll figure out what's wrong after school" the boy said as he walked away.

asmodeus had adapted to the human life much quicker than seraphina and evangelina had ever been able to, seraphina knew it was because he enjoyed it up on earth. he was free to be whoever he wanted and do whatever he wanted. he wasn't shackled by his father to rule over the souls of the dead. on earth he could exist alone.

seraphina waited a few minutes after hearing the front door lock before pulling herself from her bed, her bare feet hitting the cold wooden tiles of her room. melissa's bedroom window was shut and so were her blinds. her feet walked to liliths room and slowly she unlocked the door.

it was a plain room, nothing ever stood out. lilith had adapted the plain single mother front without question. seraphina knew her mother better though, she walked over to her bed pulling the jewellery box on her bedside table in front of her.

she took her time as she looked at each ring and necklace, earrings and bracelets all dating back to the beginning of time. there had always been one ring though that never left seraphina's mind. made from tungsten and had the most unique designs following the shape. as she looked closer she realised the designs were filled with blood. her blood. her blood from when she were only a baby.
