CHAPTER 10- WHAT THE WORLD HAS COME TO

*BANG* you looked over to see smoke coming from Nejis house. Your first instinct was to run to save neji but someone grabbed your hand.

"N-neji?" You said confused "shy girl, that's not the way to my house you know" he said with a chuckle "I-I u-u-umm" you got embarrassed

"it's fine shy girl there's no need for you to be embarrassed" neji said with a smile. He grabbed your hand and started running slowly but still running. "N-n-neji where are w-we going?" You asked nervously. "We're going to the fire she girl" he replied. You got butterflies in your stomach just having neji hold your hand.

NEJI POV

I came to find y/n. When I finally did I noticed she was about to run to the fire alone so I had to stop her I couldn't let her go alone. Without thinking I grabbed her hand and noticed she was blushing. It's not like I was holding her hand though I just grabbed her wrist. "N-neji?" Her voice sounded so sweet. I looked into her deep (e/c) eyes and told her that wasn't the way to my house. I couldn't help but laugh I little bit and noticed she was embarrassed. I then held her hand and started running to the scene with her hand in mine. I was so happy I felt free when I did that. I would do anything to feel the way I felt that day again.

BACK TO YOUR POV

That was the best moment of my life. I wished I could do that every second of the day. "shy girl" neji asked breaking the silence. "Y-yes?" You asked still blushing from the fact neji held your hand. "Do you still hurt yourself or did you stop" you got kinda sad he didn't confess his love to you but you still told your awnser to the question. "n-no why?" You asked curiously "no reason" he replied with then he smiled slightly.

"N-n-neji" you felt like this was the right time to tell him but at the same time you didn't. "What's up shy girl?" Just as you were gonna tell him you arrived and abandoned the plan on telling him "a-are we here?" You said changing what you really wanted to say "uhh yeah I think so" he replied with. Neji has not let go of your hand yet and you were happy about that just then....
