you and neji finally made it to the scene when you realized it was coming from the woods.

"A w-wild f-f-f-fire" you said shaking "y/n relax it's ok" neji said trying to comfort you. "HELP SOMEONE HELP" someone screams from the woods. "neji we have to go s-save them" you said starting to calm down. "Your right y/n" when neji said your name your heart mealted it sounded beautiful when he said it like that "y/n focus" you said to yourself

TIME SKIP TO AFTER YOU FOUND THE KID

*cough* "don't worry b-buddy your g-g-gonna be o-ok" you say trying to stop him from crying. "Are you sure" the little boy asked slightly calming down "I p-promise o-o-ok?" You say coughing from all the smoke. "Ok" the little boy said. Neji ran off to get medical help so it was just you and the little boy. You lifted him up and started to run. You almost made it to the enterance of the woods until...

A log fell right at the enterance of the woods causing you both to be trapped. "n-n-no n-no" you say under your breath. "No no no" you repeat louder "no no NO NO NO" you scream. "y-y/n are you o-ok" the little boy said starting to get scared "DAMNIT" you scream starting to scare the boy "y-y/n your s-s-scaring m-me" the little boy started to cry.

"fuck" you said under your breath. "O-ok guess w-what?" You try to make the kid not scared anymore. "W-w-what" he askes scared. "It's gonna be o-o-ok trust m-me" you say with a smile. "Are you s-sure" the kid askes one more time. "I'm p-p-positive" you say with a smile and a thumbs up. "S-so don't c-cry o-ok?" You say trying not to get scared. "Ok" the boy says with a smile.

1 AND 30 MINUTES LATER

"Ok so what we're going to do is get this blanket" you pull a blanket you found in a tree out of your pocket. "And put it in this water" you put the blanket in the water making it enough fire resistant. "ok I need you to do something for me" you ask "sure" the little boy responds. "Ok I n-n-need you to take this b-b-blanket and r-rap yourself I-in it" you say while rapping the went blanket on him. "Sure" he says with a smile. " ok I now n-need you to g-g-go to the enterance and j-jump over that l-log" you say straight to his face "what about you how will you get out" he says starting to cry "d-don't worry about m-m-me o-ok?" You wipe his tears and pick him up. "Ok r-ready?" You say smiling "ready" he says starting to cry in fear.

You throw the boy over the log and make sure he is ok. "ARE YOU O-OK" you say staring to get worried he got burned "IM OK" he says while standing up. "HERE ILL THROW THE BLANKET BACK OVER SO YOU CAN COME TO" he says wiping his dried tears. you knew if he threw it it wouldn't cover your entire body, you knew that from the beginning. "I-it's o-ok I got a w-way out for m-me" you say starting to cry. "W-what" the boy says as his heart dropped. "THAT NOT WHAT WE AGREED ON YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO COME OUT OF THIS FIRE WITH ME" he screams while wiping his tears. "J-just go I g-got it" you say as you continue crying. "ILL NEVER FORGET YOU THANK YOU" he says still crying. Then he runs off into the distance.
