After numerous ideas of our escape plan, I couldn't come up with anything.
"There's no way of escaping, there's is no point in trying" Nancy commented as she walked past our room.
I looked at her frustratingly as she carried on discouraging me.
"instead of wasting your time, come help me with the laundry."
I quickly slid the pieces of papers under my mattress and got up to assist Nancy.
Alayna pointed out at a bump on the side of my head but i chose to ignore it since it didn't affect me.
As we went out I felt a presence following me. I stopped my tracks to turn around and found no one. Before I could carry on my investigation, Nancy called on me again. I hurried along to where Nancy was trying to ignore the uneasy feeling.
After a few moments we finished our jobs and went back to the room. That's when I felt a piercing headache. I tried to not react to stop anyone from worrying, but the pain carried on well into the night. Whilst everyone was asleep, I quietly creped out of the room to relieve my headache. A glowing light shone which drew me into the kitchen faster. Until I heard footsteps. It didn't make sense. Everyone was already asleep. Who could this be. Thoughts of an intruder began running in my head. A broom which was leaning on the doorway called my name. I grabbed it silently to use as a weapon. I conjured enough courage to face the intruder and began swinging my weapon left and right. His screams made me hit him harder.
"I'm one you!! I live here too!! Please stop for the sake of my wellbeing !!"
I brought back the broom to look at the one I attacked. He didn't look like a intruder and he claimed he wasn't.
" Aren't you going to apologise? " he said as he tried to balance himself on his feet.
"your fault, you acted so suspiciously?"
before he was able to report back, I began wincing in pain.
He stopped in his previous question and asked if I was okay.
"yes I am fine, its just a headache"
"but you're the one who hit me" he claimed in an arrogant tone.
I roll my eyes in disbelief and decide to turn around.
Before I can leave, he exclaimed.
"wait here, I'm coming."
I waited patiently for him to come back to find him holding a glass of water and medicine.
I asked in confusion "why are you helping me?"
"I'm shocked a wooden spoon can do such damage."
My eyes widen in surprise, I never said it was a wooden spoon.
"you were the one to hit me?"
He scratched the back of his neck saying.... "I didn't hit you, the spoon did"
