It was the start of a new life for me and my 16-year old son Alex Brand in a new town called Eerie Hollow. It was a five-hour drive that got us here, but I knew it would be good for Alex not to be anywhere close to his abusive, good for nothing father and to find out about why she’s been having these weird dreams about the town called Eerie Hollow or what made her suddenly pack up her and her sons things and move out there. As we pulled up into the town it seemed to be a very active town. I looked over to Alex and saw a very disappointing look on his face I asked him if anything was wrong but as all teenagers, he just shrugs and looks out the window. When we pulled up to our new house it looked better than what I saw online. As i pulled the car to a stop I told my son that he would get used to living here and make some new friends very soon. Then he looked at me and asked if his father knew where we were and come after us. I told him that I didn’t know and if he did that we would be ready. Then we got out and started to take all our things into the house. It was a good thing we moved here during the summer that way we would have time to unpack and then see what the town had to offer. When got all of our things into our rooms I decided that we should go to the cafe in town to eat since it was a long drive here. So I grabbed my purse and made sure I had money then walked out the house with Alex and drove back in town to a cafe called Pat's Diner.
