Nick pulled me closer. Our heads both snapped in the direction of the door.

"What the hell was that?" Nick exclaimed

"Come on" I pulled away leaving the science and Nature room

I ran towards the source of the noise. When I got there I saw a crowd of people

"He's dead" A camper shrieked

"Jermey is dead!" Another girl yelled

I pushed through the crowd of people to see a mess of blood and a single pair of glasses lying on the ground. My hand flew to my mouth. I heard Nick come up behind me and start saying something, but I only caught the last of it.

"- on Cecilia. Let's go" He took my hand in his and pulled me back through the crowd away from the dead boy.

"No, you guys! Hey! We are done. Everyone back. Hey! No. Color war is done. Alright? Get out of here, come on guys."Gary yelled shooing campers away from Jermey's body.

"Let's go! This is not a part of the game! Go guys, go, go!" Gary shouted, ringing the Mess Hall bell, guiding campers

Children flowed into the Mess Hall, I was in relief when I saw Ziggy run in with the rest of the campers, I ran over to her pulling her into a hug, which she pushed me away soon after.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. What's going on?" She questioned

"There's a killer in camp" I breathed out

I could hear Nick and Gary counting campers in the back, when the lights went out, causing many campers to scream.

"Stay calm! Everything is alright!" Nick called out to the campers

I grabbed Ziggy's hand and pulled her towards where Nick and Gary were.

"That's at least 30 missing" Gary complained

"Where is Cindy, Kurt, Joan?" Nick trudged towards the phone, dialing a number, just then the lights came back on

"I don't know, I haven't seen them? or Tommy- or anyone for that matter... Maybe-maybe they're looking for us?" Gary replied

"Shit, it's dead" Nick said, referring to the phone

"We-we need to go find Cindy" I exclaimed heading towards the exit of the Mess Hall

"The sister you've spoken to 3 times this week" He raised his eyebrows

"Go to hell" I went to push past him

"Look, I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean it" He reasoned "Me and Gary will go"

"What?" Gary piped in with wide eyes

"Just please. Cecilia. Stay here," He brought his hand to cup my cheek

"I-I can't just sit here!" I exclaimed

"I'm not letting you get hurt!" He raised his voice "Please, let me do my job, I'll find Cindy. Just stay here" He tucked a stray hair behind me ear, walking away quickly

"Hey! You realize that's a camper right?" Gary questioned as Nick handed him a flashlight

"Look, you make for cabin 1, I'll go for 9" Nick explained

"But what if the killers still out there?" Gary shuddered

"That's the whole point Gary" He snapped before walking out of the Mess Hall

I saw Sheila's 3 friends approach Ziggy and I went over to them, I walked over to see what was happening. But they ended up cornering both Ziggy and I.
