Nick ran through the woods as quickly as he could. The pain in his leg was excruciating, but the more he thought about it the pain of Cecilia dying was worse, so he ran faster. He ran until he reached the hanging tree, stopping as he saw three bodies beneath the tree, unmoving. His breath hitched at the thought of her being dead. Thunder boomed in the sky as he moved closer towards the bodies. It was truly a tragic sight, beneath the hanging tree lay the 3 Berman sisters, hands all stretched out, but not touching.

His eyes scanned over the bodies, he first saw Cindy who was definitely gone, taking many axe blows to the chest. Then he gasped, as he saw Cecilia in the middle, stab wounds, with blood covering her stomach. He felt a lump in his throat appear. He kneeled down next to her quickly, touching her leg and looking more closely at her wounds.

"Cecilia..." He whispered, no answer.

"No! Hey, hey! Don't die on me, ok?" He pushed a strand behind her ear, grabbing her face. He let out a shaky breath and began to give the girl chest compressions.

"Come on, come on, come on!", he pinched her nose, breathing into her mouth

"Come on, come!" He cried, "I just got you, I can't lose you now" He pleaded, pushing on her chest. Breathing into her mouth again, pausing to grab her cheek.

"Breath! Please Cecilia..." He begged her, still pounding on her chest. He looked at the girl, his eyes filled with worry. Cecilia's eyes fluttered open, she blinked a few times her eyes readjusting. Her eyes focused in on Nicks figure above her. She gasped several times, Nick grabbing her cheek.

"Come on!" He said. Cecilia coughed. He smiled at her, sighing in relief.

She brought her hand up to meet his. Nick pulled her into a gentle hug. Cecilia was then brought to reality when she glanced past Nick and saw her sisters lying on either side of her.

"My sisters" she cried, "Help my sisters" she sobbed, trying to push him away

I was now lying on a stretcher at the front of camp. Nick standing over me, playing with my hair with one hand, holding one of my hands with the other.

"My sisters. Where are my sisters" I demanded

I followed his gaze to Cindy's body being covered with a tarp.

"No..." I whispered

I then followed his gaze over to the alive Ziggy lying on a stretcher a couple of feet away from me.

"It was her... It was Sarah Fier, the witch. The curse it's real" I told him

"Cecilia..." He sighed

He knew there was no witch. But what he didn't know was that his ancestor, Solomon Goode was behind this, and that his grandfather, father, and now brother had carried on his legacy. He walked away from me, letting me rest as the ambulances were prepared to take us to the hospital. I could see as officer Kapinski approached him.

"What the hell happened here?" The officer asked him

"Tommy Slater, he just went crazy" He told the officer

1994:

"That was July 19th, 1978." Ziggy said, sitting in a rocking chair in her living room, Deena and Josh in front of her.

"Cindy... My sister... she sacrificed herself for nothing. I told everyone the story of how she died, the story I just told you. But no one believed me..." She sighed

"And Nick, Cecilia? Did he believe her about the curse?" Deena asked

"I thought he was different. I thought that he would believe her. But Nick had a destiny in this town, and Cecilia was a part of that destiny. You don't become some of the most important people in town telling ghost stories. I couldn't see them again. Not after that, it crushed Cecilia, having to go live with our dad, but it crushed her even more to live where Cindy was once alive, where there constant reminders she was dead, but the witch.. the curse... for one night, Cindy and Cecilia believed that there was a way to end it, and so I did too. But now I know, there is no end" She ended the story as an alarm went off from behind her, startling the 3.

"Like I said, the best chance you have is to run from this place, as fast as you can, and hope a bus doesn't hit you on your way out." Ziggy told them, shutting off the alarm

"We found the body, off of highway 5" Deena stood up

"That's not possible" Ziggy scolded

"Oh it's there, the chains, the bones, the whole thing." Josh spoke

"That could be anyone!"

"Why do you think our friends died? For the same reason they killed Alice, your sister. The killers came after us because we found something they didn't want us to find. And I wish it never happened, but we found it. We found what you were looking for back in '78. We found Sarah Fier. Look, please, we... Nurse Lane was right. We can end the curse by reuniting the hand with the body and we know where the body is, so all we need is the hand.  What happened to Camp Nightwing? Is the hand bone still there? Still buried underneath the hanging tree?" Deena rambled, Ziggy nodded confirming that the hand bone was still there.

Deena and Josh ran out the door. Speeding their way to the Shadyside mall. Ziggy walked towards the kitchen, picking up the phone. She dialed a number and held the phone to her ear.

"Hello? This is Cecilia Goode speaking. Who is this?" I spoke

"Cecilia, it's Ziggy" Ziggy let out a deep breath

"Ziggy?! Oh my god! Are you-" I spoke but Ziggy but me off

"It's happening again" Ziggy sighed

"I'm on my way" and the phone went dead

I hung up the phone and grabbed my jacket and keys. I went outside and pulled out of our driveway. The drive to Shadyside was quiet. I didn't know what to expect, would I be murdered again. The excitement of seeing Ziggy again was enough to push past the nervousness in my stomach. Where was Nick right now? What was he doing?

I took a deep breath, ready to see someone who I hadn't seen in 16 years. I raised my fist to the front door, sucking in a sharp breath as I knocked. I could hear multiple locks unlocking from the inside, but I didn't have time to question it as Ziggy pulled the door open. She looked at me for a couple of seconds.

"Ziggy!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms around her

She stood there for a moment, then returned the hug.

"I missed you" She sighed out into my hair
