Chapter 9

It's been two days since the Captains, the Wizard King, Marx and the other Magic knights in the beach. Since coming there, Julius thought he will get away from paper works but to his surprise, Marx bring them along with them.

Charlotte was in the back of the house, watching the flowers from the big house next to them. So beautiful flowers and her eyes are shining. The guards of the house was sleeping so she tried to sneak in to the gate and pick one. When she was about to leave, a voice called her from the inside of the house and she look over on the guard and he was still sleeping so shrugged it off and comeback to the house they rent in.

"Dark Shadow!!!" Yami yelled as he use his magic to make a big shadow and chased Finral in the shore.

"Help me!!" Finral yelled.

"Wow" Julius said with stars in his eyes. Asta beside him with the same expression.

"He's talented, it's not like I'm amazed tho hmmpph! " Noelle said with a blush and flipped her hair.

"How tsundere" Vanessa said as she spotted Charlotte, a flower in her hand and Dorothy following her behind.

"Look what Charly have!" Dorothy said cheerly and Charlotte show them the rose in her hands.

"Where did you get that?" Gauche asked.

"Oh on that big creepy house" Charlotte said proudly her chin said it all.

"O-okay"

"What house?" Julius asked.

Charlotte pointed her finger on the house a little far from the house they rented in, Julius face became serious and warned them to come again there.

Confused kids, continue what their playing and also to distract them.

"Marx a word please" Julius said as he saw Marx entered the house.

"The man who attacked you that night was one of the most wanted criminal of Diamond Kingdom but he was recorded he died 3 years ago" Marx explained and show  what was he saw in Julius memories. 

"Looks like someone faked his death for him and also there is this ship lurking around the Diamond kingdom, they send some of their warriors their but they didn't comeback alive, there are also some missing cases and all of them are woman in their 20." Marx explained.

"Thank you Marx" Julius said and headed outside.

Charlotte and Yami are now walking around the near forest when they feel someone watching them but they stay calm, when they are about to comeback to where they stay in, An old woman appeared in front of them. Yami and Charlotte hold there hand together because they are getting scared now. 

" W-who are you?" Charlotte asked politely, and scared.

"Well, well , well , what are the cute little girl like you doing here ?" said the Old woman.

"She's with me!" Yami said and hid her behind him.

"Shut up little brat" the old woman said and pick Charlotte and started to runaway.

"Yamyam!" Charlotte cried and Yami is yelling following them.

Julius sense the shift of mana in the forest and he decide to look on it when he heard Yami screaming. He immediately felt unfamiliar mana that he is following and use this magic to stop him.

"Time Restraining Magic: Chrono Stasis" he said and captured the man who disguised as an old woman.

Enemy's POV

"Time Restraining Magic: Chrono Stasis" I heard someone said and I saw him in front of me, his aura is scary.

'Who was that?  time Magic? The wizard king !? Nobody told me that these kids are under his care for now!'

" Where do you think will bring my daughter young man?" he asked. He pulled something in his hand and its a communication  tool. 

"Bring some magic knights please Marx" he said and didn't wait for the respond. 

Later on he freed me and knocked me out.

After Julius knocked out the man, Yami fell on his butt. Sitting on the bare ground and started  crying. Julius picked him and Charlotte up and comfort them.

"Yamyam stop crying" Charlotte said crying too and hugged him while Julius is carrying them.

The other member of Black Bulls arrived and immediately read the situation. They bring the man in the Magic Knights Headquarters and Marx starts his investigation.

When they comeback in the house they rent in, Yami and Charlotte are now sleeping in Julius arms, they got tired physically and mentally traumatized on what happened. And Julius got the hint. 

The enemies targeting Charlotte and the others may got involved in this. They must start being careful.
