Okay fine JJ can admit that sometimes he might be a bit overprotective but that's only because he doesn't want you to get hurt, uncomfortable, sad basically any negative feelings in any way possible.

So when telling JJ that you are going help Kiara at the beach in an hour and clean it out, He probably would've thought it was a great idea, But considering there was a storm coming in less than 24 hours, the ocean was absolutely loosing it. Which means that there were already big, BIG waves flushing in over the beach.

Now there have been stories all over the island about people getting hurt real bad in those waves.

"i don't know Y/n what if something actually happens to you?"
JJ exclaims while fiddling with his fingers.

"JJ I will be fine I promise, Kiara has been doing this every year. At least I'm with someone who knows what they're doing. Could've been worse y'know?"
You say while walking up to him and giving him a reassuring hug.

He wraps his arms around you and presses a long kiss to your forehead.

"But what about all those stories about people getting hurt in those waves. That might happen!"

He exclaims and looks back down at you with a worried expression.

"Oh please those are fake and you know it, They were probably made up by some parent to make the kids stay away from the beach in storm weather."

He hugs you tighter and rests his head on your shoulder.

"Plus you can't force me to stay home, it's not like you're my dad." You say tiredly and pulling away from the hug, believe it or not, Arguing is so god damn tiring and you just wanted it to be over already.

"No of course I'm not, I know that Y/n, I'm sorry if I'm annoying but I would never forgive myself if you get hurt."

He says and leans against the kitchen counter.

"Oh come on it's not like I'm gonna throw myself in the water. Plus you're not responsible for me you know? I can take care of myself perfectly fine thank you."
You say and roll your eyes now slightly annoyed at the blond boys behavior.

"You're right, okay you know what, I really admire you for helping Kiara clean out the beach and I think that it sounds like a great Idea."
JJ says and smiles.

"Really? You do?"
You ask and look at him with a look mixed with happiness and confusion.

"Well- as you said I obviously can't force you, But I can be supportive."

He says and walks up to you and wrapping his arms back around your waist

You smile and throw your arms around his neck, Leaning in and connecting your lips.

JJ smiles into the kiss and deepens it by slipping his tongue into your mouth. His hand starts to travel to your backside and- Wait no. God you're gonna be late.

You swiftly pull away and immediately JJ let's out a big whine.

"What was that for??"
He says and pouts while crossing his arms like a real toddler. The poor boy looks like a child who got their candy taken away.

You laugh and peck his lips one more time.

"Sorry J but I'm gonna be late."
You say and give him an apologetic smile.
