prologue

"Dude i have something to tell you, come to my place now." I sigh before nodding as if he can see my response. "You gotta accept your fate stev" i heard his chuckles before hanging up the phone.

I packed my most important things. Actually it was always ready but i decided to unpack my things one night, thingking that i can finally quit doing things that i dont like and start looking for a decent job to start with. But i cant stand seeing my younger siblings begging for something to fill their empty stomachs.

Im almost done. Isang bagay nalang ang kulang. Inikot ko ang paningin ko para hanapin ang bagay na iyon. Pero ang mga mata ng kapatid ko ang natagpuan ko. "Kuya may work ka?" She asked with concerned look. I once again nodded. "Yes may work ako" i avoided her gaze, i tried to act as cold as i can be. "Wag muna kayo mag laro ni shen sa labas, may tira pa na ulam kaninang tanghali kumain kayo ni shen pag nagutom kayo." She didn't answered. "Sisilipin kayo ni liz bago matulog, aalis na ako" I turned my back and walk towards the door.

I know what's with those concerned looks, ibinigay ko din yon kay kuya noong isang hapon ay bigla siya nagpaalam para mag trabaho, lumipas ang ilang araw ay kinailangan naming pumunta sa kulungan para mag hatid ng pagkain. Natawa ako sa sarili habang binabaybay ang daan papunta sa kabilang bahay. I knocked at the door "Liz come out" I shouted, i was about to knock once again when the door opened aggressively.

"Ang aga-aga sigaw ka ng sigaw"I rolled my eyes. I cant believe this woman, every time that i woke her up no matter what time it is, it will always be "ang aga-aga".

"I have work liz, paki tignan naman sina sein bago matulog" i asked her without any emotions. "Ayos ka din makiusap parang obligado ko talagang sundin, oo na dun nalang ako matutulog"

"thanks a lot" i gave her my sweetest smile. "Creepy mo ngumiti" my smile suddenly faded by her words. "Crush mo nga ako dati" i saw how her expression changed. "Muka kang natatae"

I laughed as i turned my back and start to walk towards their gate. "Tanga pa ako non" i chuckle at her answer "Bye Liz" i shouted before running to my destination.

Habol ang hininga kong inilabas ang telepono. "Breis open the damn door" Ibinaba ko ang bag sa sahig bago sunandal sa pader, I really hate running. "Open it yourself stev, I know you can do it" I was about to throw a cuss but he hang the phone again.

"This asshole is obsessed with hanging phone calls" I whispered bago ilabas ang gamit at buksan ang pintuan, naisip kong sirain pero madaming lakas ang ma co-consume ko so i decided to unlock it with a pin.

"Tarantado ka breis" he just laughed at me while holding a bag of chips with his left hand and a remote control with his right hand. "I knew it dude, i knew that you can do it" he looks like a proud mom. "It's easy anyway" I anwered. "Here's the info steven, you can call me if you need something" natawa ako "I would rather call the police" I scanned the informations. "Hmm nothing kaya mo yan kahit nakapikit ang mata" I dont know if i should take that as a compliment.

Pero tama si breis, i can probably do it with my both eyes shut. Simple lang ang task, isang gamit lang ang hinahanap. Bukod don, walang ibang tao sa loob ng location, hindi din ganoon kahirap makapasok kaya sigurado akong magiging madali kontrolin ang lahat.

I scanned the informations once again. I wonder what's with this ring, is this really that valuable? I was about to ask breis about my thoughts when he suddenly speak "I don't have any idea stev" i rolled my eyes "Youre so easy to read" masyado ka lang matalino. "I have to go" he nodded.

As usual, i scanned the area. Its quiet, walang ibang gumagalaw maliban sa akin. The house is pretty clean, maayos na nakasalansan ang bawat libro sa shelves, pantay ang pwesto ng bawat upuan. I walked towards the spot and saw the cabinet. I opened it and of course i saw the ring. Kung tutuusin, napaka simple lamang ng design niyon. Isang malaking bato lamang iyon na napalilibutan ng maliliit na mga bato. I slid it to a Ziploc bag.

I was about to take my steps when i heard something. Sigurado akong walang ibang dapat nandito kung hindi ako lang. It was written in the informations, breis may be an asshole but he will never betray me.

I walked as light as a feather. Sumilip ako mula sa kwartong kinaroroonan ko. I saw a figure. He has a key, he is the owner? But no, he is slowly walking. It looks like he is scared that someone may hear his footsteps. Pinanood ko siyang maglakad na parang bibe papunta sa isang kwarto.

He tries to open it but its locked. Dahan dahan niya muling ginamit ang susi bago mabagal na pumasok. Obviously, may tao sa loob kaya ganoon na lamang ang pag iingat niya. Pero hindi ko alam ang intensyon niya. Why would he steal, he even had the key. What ever, i have to get out of here.

I already have my plans, I calculated the space and the time that i will consume. I was about to make a move when i heard a scream galing sa kwartong pinasok nung lalaki kanina, It was a girl's scream. "What are you doing! Get your hands off me!" Napapikit ako. I swear, i will kill you breis.

Hindi ko pinansin ang narinig at sinumulan nang mag lakad palabas. It was going smoothly and controlled. Ilang hakbang nalang ay mahahawakan ko na ang knob when the door suddey opened. Wala akong oras para magulat, i punched its face.

Bumulagta siya sa sahig pero agd ding naka bangon. Shit this will take a while. "Who are you" he asked with fear in his eyes. My eyes is the only part of me that he can see. I lowered my voice "I am nobody"

Using my right leg, i successfully knocked him down. Well its too easy than i thought it will be. I grab his leg at sinimulang kaladkarin papunta sa malapit na kwarto. But shits really happen, bumukas nanaman ang pinto ng isang kwarto at iniluwa nito ang hubad na katawan ng babae. Napaiwas ako ng tingin at sandaling nakalimutan ang dapat na gawin. Nahinto din ang babae pero agad ding nakabawi.

She was about to ran away from the room but then the guy pulled her hair. Gulat din ang lalaki ng makita niya ako at ang nabitawan kong katawan. Shit! How can i escape this shit.

Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin, should I help her or not??? hmm... "Please help me!!" I rolled my eyes before throwing the nearest thing beside me.

Oh. It was a knife,

Natawa ako ng manginig yung lalaki sa takot. Well sino ba namang hindi matatakot kapag nakakita ka ng kutsilyong lumilipad.

Tumalikod na ako at sinimulang mag lakad papunta sa pinto. Hinayaan ko na yung lalaking nasipa ko kanina, kaya niya na sarili niya.

"No, please help me sir" Napairap ako ng sumigaw nanaman yung babae. Anong klaseng tulong ba ang gusto niya?

I gave her the guy's jacket bago ko siya kinaladkad papasok sa isang kwarto. Mabilis kong tinawagan si breis "i need a car, now" not long after my call, narinig ko ang sasakyan ni breis. Hinila ko ulit ang babae papunta sa sasakyan ni breis.

"Akala ko ba "I would rather call a police?" Bungad ni breis ng buksan ko ang pinto ng sasakyan. "Shut up asshole, tatlong taong humihinga ang nakita ko sa location tarantado"
