CHAPTER 9
I was sitting in the living room of Chester's house. His wife was out and his children were at school so it was only the two of us.
"I know you're worried about the tour next month but it'll be fine. I know you don't want to but you'll need to be nice to Jack and Megan as well as Shadow." Chester told me. "If Megan's coming why do I need to be nice to him. I'd prefer to keep my distance." I said coldly.
Chester sighed and put his head in his hands.
"Jack and Ryan are influential people. Not all if our fans have accepted you and I guarantee the haters are after just you know so you need to play nice." Chester explained. "Fine. If either of them tries something don't be surprised by my reaction." I grumbled.
"Someone's grumpy." Chester's wife Talinda teased. "Hi Talinda." I greeted.
Chester walked over to her and kissed her. Then Chester's children Jamie, Draven, Tyler, Isaiah, Lily and Lila ran up to him and hugged him.
"Hi dad." They all said.
I smiled. They were a normal, happy family.
My phone buzzed so I pulled it out of my pocket.
Shadow: Hey ;) How is it at Chester's?
Me: Good. On tour I have to be nice to Jack and Megan :/
Shadow: You'll be fine. We'll let them know before then
Me: Thanks. I don't know what I would do without you
Shadow: Be completely lost and you would still be with Jack
Me: Smart alec :p Gtg bye. I'll call you later
Shadow: fine. Bye.
"I'm guessing that was Shadow. Are you and him dating?" Isaiah asked. "If we were you would know. You know a lot more about me than I thought possible." I answered. "That was an indirect answer so you're clearly hiding something." Jaime said.
Isaiah and Jaime sat down with me giving me their best evil smiles.
"Either you've done something, you're planning to do something or you know something." I realized. "We know you're with Shadow." Isaiah told me. "Do you now? Tell me, do you have any proof?" I asked.
Tyler, Draven, Lily and Lila came over as well. Lily and Lila sat on my lap.
"Either you love Shadow or you're with him. Which one is it?" Chester asked.
He and Talinda also sat down.
"I feel so loved." I muttered. "Answer me." Chester said. "Why does it matter?" I asked. "I want to know. He's not like Jack but he might hurt you still." Chester answered. "I don't ask you questions about your personal life. I did intense research of an individual on you years ago." I replied.
Chester laughed but looked a little creeped out at the same time.
"Don't worry I don't know everything and plus I wasn't like the guy that sent you threats and messed with you." I reassured him.
Everyone left me and I felt a tiny bit lonely. I decided I would go up to the room I was staying in and call Shadow. Before I could someone knocked on the door so I went to go answer it. It was Shadow.
"Hey! What are you doing here?" I asked.
Shadow looked down like he was upset about something.
"Can I talk to Chester and if possible Mike?" Shadow asked. "Sure." I said worriedly.
