Kaylord's POV

Just as soon as I thought things are looking up, Everything had to go wrong.

One moment we were deep in discussion, talking about possibilities about how the clues were linked or not, until suddenly a massive earthquake started that made everyone lose their footing.

Rozaliya: WH-WHATS GOING ON?!

I started to hear a faint hum of energy and I looked at the moon, fearing the worst.

Kaylord: Holy mother of all herrescher....

The moon was defenitly sending even more larger and brighter waves, preparing for another explosion. Just then, my left sword also started to vibrate like crazy that I had to unseathe it. Its runes were panickingly glowing and fading, as if bracing itself for the worst.

Before anyone could prepare themselves however, the moon exploded, knocking us back with such unbelievable force it was a miracle I didnt die. I thought for sure I would crash, but I bumped my head against something soft and I fell with a soft BUMP. How the flip did I not get hurt??

When I opened my eyes, I soon knew why.

We were in a small igloo. Which was made by benreas's wings. The twins were dazed a bit but otherwise fine. Benreas looked calm, as usual, but also tired. I suddenly felt guilty for making benreas Do this.

Kaylord: Benreas it's fine now. You can remove your wings. Take a breather.

Benreas: Are you sure human? You wont like what's outside.

Kaylord:......And why is that?

Instead of answering, she moved one of her wings aside.

Boy was I surprised. The first thing I noticed was the cold. Then the snow. As soon as I exited the small igloo of benreas's wings.....

Kaylord: Woah.

As soon as I said that, a wave of smoke exited my mouth, as if I just breathed fire ( which would have been cool as hell. Too bad.)

Snow was everywhere, as if winter came early. St Freya was covered with lots of snow, to the point I doubt the classrooms would be empty. The small lakes that surrounded the school got frozen. I scooped a bit of snow from the ground beside my leg and rubbed them together. Yep, feels real.

Kaylord: Ai you seeing this?

Ai: The heck.....now the weather calendar will be messed up.

Rozaliya: Eh? Snow?

I looked behind me and it seemed the twins woke up. They looked confusingly around their new environment as if they just transported to an another world.

Benreas: Human.

Her voice was tired and I immediately rushed to her aid. Only now did I notice her wings from the outside intercepted a lot of hits. An anvil of guilt welled down my chest as I saw her in this condition, helpless....

No. Now is not the time for blaming over what could have happend or not. I very well couldnt do anything about it, but right now, I can support benreas all the way to the dorm. Hopefully.

Ai: Kaylord the temperature is dropping rather fast.....what shall we do for the twins?

Kaylord: Stick to them and try to give them warmth.

Ai: What about you?

Kaylord: I- I will be fine. Let's go benreas.

She leaned on me as I helped her up, her wing, as last time, covering my entire back and a bit of my side. Her breathing seemed ragged and unfocused, as if that blast just winded her out greatly. I had to remind myself she was still wounded yet managed to protect me and the twins from.....that. That must have been a feat not everyone can pull off. Her eyes were unfocused, slowly losing their light.
