When I woke up I was full of energy. With a big smile plastered on my face I went to shower and even started singing. That kiss Aaron gave me had me hoping for something bigger. Not just the kiss, but our relationship. Maybe he was finally softening up to me. Maybe I attracted him a tiny bit. He wouldn't had married me if he found me hideous. So it's time to look pretty for him.
I changed into jean short shorts and a white spaghetti strap shirt with some sandals to finish. Then I blow-dried my hair and made it a tad bit wavy. I put some mascara and a small amount of rosy lipstick. After that was done I grabbed a necklace Aaron had given me on our third date. It was made of silver with two hearts that interlocked. It was simple and I loved it. My mother hate it. She'd said that Aaron had a lot of money to buy me a gold one or a diamond one.
Shaking old memories out of my head I grabbed my bag and my travel one then walked out of my bedroom. It was eight, we still had time to eat breakfast so I went straight to the dining room. Aaron was already there. He wore a pair of dark jeans and a blue t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. I noticed how he liked to wear his shirt like that unless he was wearing a suit, of course.
"Good morning." I said and took a seat next to him.
Rita and Cindy came in with some fruit and then asked us what we wanted for breakfast. I just asked for coffee and toast while Aaron went for a sandwich.
"Good morning." he replied.
"Oh I forgot to tell you. We're going on a bus to the camp and we're sharing a cabin with Alice and Leah." I said between bites of melon.
Aaron frowned a little. "And they're okay with sharing?"
"They came up with the idea. There are three beds for cabin and since we are married and share a bed..." I trailed off as Rita and Cindy came in with breakfast. Weren't they fast?
"And I'll like to ask you a favor." I stated.
"What is it?"
"Could you please be nice to my friends or at least try to? It's important."
He looked at me for a long time and sighed. "Alright."
"Thanks." I smiled and we continued eating.
"How many kids are going?" Aaron asked as we arrived at the school. Fred opened the door for us and Aaron put on his sunglasses. Do I even have to mention how sexy he looked?
I sighed and climbed out of the car too.
"All seniors and any friends they invited." I said as people gathered with friends and eyed the busses.
"I'm starting to regret this." Aaron said as he eyed two guys about to fight. He still didn't like the idea of hanging with a bunch of teens.
"Don't you dare leave." I took a hold of his hand to ensure that he didn't. "Plus, you won't be the only adult. So calm down."
"Where do these go?" Fred held our travel bags.
"Just hand them over. I don't think anyone's allowed in the bus yet." I said and stretched my hand for it.
"I'll take them." Aaron grabbed both bags and I just stared at him in disbelief.
"I can carry mine, you know?"
"Yes."
"Then why-"
"Humor me." he said and gave me a small peck on the lips.
I sighed and looked around for any sign of my friends. Then saw a pair of arms waving us over.
"There they are." I pointed.
