It was finally the day of the party and I still felt anxious.

Aaron and I bought Freddie a very cute and simple necklace. It held a small diamond heart. And the other half of the present was in the fridge. Thank god the cooks knew how to make cheesecake without burning anything. I seriously am a lost cause. Maybe I should take cooking lessons. What if one day there's no one to cook for us and we starve because I can't cook?

"You seem worried." Aaron startled me back to reality. He was standing at the doorway, wearing a pair of black colored jeans and a dark blue t-shirt with the first few buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He looked mouth watering. Like always.

I glanced at myself in the mirror as I adjusted my side ponytail. I had finally decided on what to wear. It was a dark green colored strapless dress that went down to just an inch above my knees. I wore two inch beige heels to go with the also beige colored shrug that I was trying to slip on. It was more for show than because I was cold or anything. And also because I wasn't sure how everyone was supposed to go dressed like. So incase the strapless was too much I threw in the short sleeved shrug that covered my back and shoulders well.

As for jewelry I wore a necklace that Aaron said he gave me on one of our dates. Of course I remembered that but decided not to say anything as he helped to put it on. The make up wasn't over the top either.

I sighed, content with the overall picture and turned to Aaron with a smile. Grabbed my clutch purse and was ready to go.

"You look great." I chuckled as we went down the stairs.

"So do you." Aaron kissed my cheek and we waited for the rest of the women to come to the living room to leave.

It turns out that all of the house staff was also invited. Of course I didn't have a problem with that but Minerva had a problem with me going. That woman was really territorial. Its not like I was trying to steal anything.

Aaron held in one hand the wrapped box that contained the necklace and when the cooks came in they had the cheesecake. I visibly relaxed when I noticed they were casually dressed too. Okay I was a bit more that casual but it felt like I wasn't far off. And Aaron wouldn't let me go change so.

Peter came from the front door wearing a pair of blue jeans and a plain shirt. He looked at the cooks and then at me. With a brow raised he whistled.

"You all look beautiful." he complimented.

Then Minerva came down wearing a short sleeved purple dress, her hair loose and flats. She looked pretty.

"Lets get going." Aaron said, placing a hand on the small of my back he led the way outside.

Peter was driving Paula, Sophia (the cooks) and Minerva while Aaron and I went in the car we'd arrived in.

Once we'd found a parking space, which was very difficult, we walked over to where the party seemed to be at. There were a lot of people. It seemed like they'd invited the whole town. There was music, food, cake --which still was intact-- many people dancing, others just watching. The whole picture made you smile and want to be part of it.

Hand in hand Aaron and I walked into the chaos. It didn't take long for us to find Clare.

"I'm so glad you could make it." she smiled, giving each of us a quick hug. "Freddie's going to be so happy to see you Aaron. She's around somewhere... Freddie!" she called out when she saw her granddaughter.

The girl that came over was quite tall for her age. Hair straight as it comes and falling down to her waist. The dark of it making quite a contrast with the soft pink dress she wore.
