As kageyama finally got home he called out for hinata but he didn't get a response, so first he started looking downstairs "nowhere, he should be here by now right?" Kageyama thought as he went upstairs to look for hinata.
As soon as he got upstairs he heard some crying in the bathroom, so he went up to the bathroom door and knocked but got no response, he knocked again now also asking. "Hinata why are you crying?" Kageyama tried to open the door but it was locked. "Hinata please open the door!"
Kageyama tried to break the door open, after a few attempts he broke down the door and he just saw hinata laying on the floor in his own blood. Kageyama immediately rushed to hinata and pulled out his phone to call an ambulance.
Not long after the call the ambulance arrived taking hinata away. Kageyama was offered a ride to the hospital with a different car so he wouldn't have to see hinata like this, of course he accepted since he wanted to hear from him as fast as possible.
After he arrived at the hospital he had to wait for four hours what felt like an eternity for him, and finally the doctor called him over and when with kageyama to hinata's room.
"It will take a while for him to wake up but from what we saw he should be fine, there will be a lot of scarring of course. And you should take care of all the healing wounds and scars."
"Alright, thank you" As the doctor left and closed the door, kageyama sat down next to hinata and held his hand stroking it with his thumb. "I'm sorry" kageyama whispered to hinata.
