Beca was woken up by the painfully loud sound of her phone ringing. With an annoyed groan she fluttered her eyes open, sticking one arm out to search for her phone on the nightstand. When she had finally found it, she took the call, making sure to be quiet enough so that Amy wouldn't wake up. Chloe had been wanting to share a room with Beca, but Amy insisted that she wanted to stay with 'shortstack'.

"Hello?" She quietly asked into the phone.

"Morning Becs." She was greeted with a familiar voice whispering on the other end of the line.

"Dude, it's 8am, why are you calling me? Your room is literally just down the hall."

"Because I kinda didn't stay in my room last night..." Chloe answered, embarrassment clear in her voice.

"Chloe!" Beca said a little too loud with a mix of surprise and shock in her voice.

"I know, okay. Can you please just come here and pick me up? I'm at t-" Chloe covered her eyes with her free hand, rubbing them a few times. She was sitting on the closed toilet in the bathroom of Chicago's room. He was still sleeping and the only thing Chloe wanted right now, was to get away. She had already put on the clothes she had been wearing last night; her red curls were messily put up in a bun. She was embarrassed by how quickly she had agreed to stay with Chicago last night. He had been cute and charming, a good distraction, so Chloe didn't have to think about what would happen, if Khaled wanted Beca to sign a contract.

"I know where you are. I'll be there in a bit." Beca answered harsher than intended. She had gotten up, walking towards the bathroom through a pile of clothes she and Amy had accumulated there in the last few days.

"Please hurry." Beca heard from the other end before she hung up. She got ready in no time and was on her way to the military base, where Chicago was staying. She was sitting in the back of a cab, headphones on, looking out of the window. She was thinking about last night. She had performed for Khaled, bringing all the Bellas on stage to help with her nervousness. When she finally finished her song, Chloe had been the first one to embrace her in a tight hug, both crying. A while after that she had seen Chloe kiss Chicago. She had mixed feelings about him the whole trip. This guy was way too confident. He knew exactly how good-looking he was and he played this card way too well. Beca had walked away, not wanting to stare at them kissing for too long. She and the other Bellas went back to the hotel a little while later; she had no idea, that Chloe was going to stay with him. Beca was just skipping through one of her playlists, when the cab pulled up in front of the military base. She told the cab driver to wait and got out. She walked a few feet, coming to a stop in front of the gate. She opened her contacts and searched for Chloe. She didn't have to wait very long until Chloe picked up.

"I'm here." Chloe knew Beca wasn't a morning person, but she had no idea why she was so pissed about picking her up. She grabbed the little bag she had brought with her last night and slowly opened the bathroom door.

"I'm on my way." Chloe hadn't even finished her sentence before Beca hung up on her. She was left with the beeping sound from the phone for a few seconds before she ended the call. She quickly made her way outside to the gate. Once she saw Beca, a smile spread on the redhead's face. Her pace quickened even more; she was almost running by now.

"Thanks for picking me up." She commented happily while pulling Beca in for a hug that was hesitantly returned.

"Can we go now? The cab is waiting." It bothered Beca, that Chloe had spent the night with Chicago.

"Okay." Chloe whispered a little hurt and confused by Beca's cold tone. They walked the few steps to the cab in silence and got in. The whole drive none of them spoke a word. Beca had put her headphones on again, listening to music, staring outside the window. Chloe on the other hand was staring at Beca, wondering why she was acting so weird. When they arrived at their hotel, Beca hectically paid the cab driver and got out. Chloe was left behind for a moment, confused by Beca's unusual behavior. She got out of the cab and tried to catch up with Beca, who had already entered the hotel. She jogged to the elevators that Beca was already waiting in front of. Chloe grabbed Beca's headphones and pulled them down to rest on Beca's neck.
