1st Year
Saige stands at King Cross Station with her mom Anne Douleur. She looks around to see young kids with their parents and older kids rushing to get on the train. She gives her mom one last squeeze and boards the train. She takes a seat in an empty compartment and looks out the window.
"Hey is it alright if I sit here? All the other compartments are full." A boy with a small fro asks with a small smile on his face.
"Sure." Saige replies with no excitement.
"Wow you sound so excited, the names Dean. Dean Thomas."
"Well Thomas I have you know I am very excited" Saige replies with a flat tone.
"You don't sound it."
Before Saige can reply a brown-haired guy with a lot of freckles sticks his head in and asks," May I sit?" his accent very thick and clearly Scottish.
"Yeah, sure!" Dean replies very enthusiastically.
Saige lets out a light scoff.
"Oh God, what's wrong." Dean asks with no sign of curiosity in his voice.
"Thank you so much for your concern, what's wrong is YOU offering MY compartment to Mr. Freckles" she says looking back at the window to find out they were leaving the station.
"My name is Seamus."
"yeah, yeah"
"Hey we just got on this train there is no reason for you to act like an arse." Dean exclaims.
With that Saige turns to the boy and smirks holding her hand out, " Saige Douleur nice to meet you Thomas. Sorry about that I just had to make sure you weren't weak, I like to have strong friends who can stick up for themselves and others you know?"
"Yeah I guess I understand" Dean says while shaking her hand slowly.
Seamus takes a seat next to Dean who is sitting across from Saige. One more person walks into the compartment and her clothes were intriguing. The trio turns to her with small smiles on their faces.
"Hi there my name Luna Lovegood, do you mind if i sit with you everyone else's compartment is full."
"Of course" Saige says widening her smile while patting the spot next to her.
Luna takes her seat and the quartet makes jokes the whole way to Hogwarts. One thing for sure this is the start of a very good friend group.
Here we are again back at King Cross Station Saige spots her friends and drags her mom over to them.
"Hi guys!! this is my favorite mom also my only mom Anne Doule- SMACK.. HEY WHAT THE HECK!"
"You used my full name" Anne said with a smirk.
"Well duh how else am i supposed to introduce you to my friends"
"I can introduce myself to them"
Saige motioned for her to do so with the flick of her hands while her friends let out light laughs.
"Anne Douleur pleasure to meet you guys" she states with a smile. "You must be Dean and you Seamus, oh and Luna" She recognizes them all from the stories she has heard from her daughter.
"yeah, yeah ok now lets get on the train" Saige says with a clap of her hands. She squeezes her mother bye while her friends give their parent/s hugs.
Going to the same compartment they were in last year they take their seats and start to tell each other about their summers.
"hey umm can I sit here?" a redhead asks.
"Hmm I guess... just kidding just kidding of course you can!" Saige replies.
The red head sits on the left hand side of Saige as Luna is on her right.
"Ginny Weasley nice to meet you guys" the red haired girl says with a smile.
"Weasley? like the sister of Ron Weasley and the best twins alive?" Saige says while the others raise an eyebrow at Ginny.
"Yep!" Ginny replies. "Although Fred and George aren't the best twins in my opinion"
"hmm beg to differ" Dean states.
"Well who do you think is the best twins?" Luna asks curiosity lacing her voice.
"Liv and Maddie"
"Oh sweet Ginerva, you poor thing"
"Giner-"
"Well Ginny welcome to this shit show friend group" Seamus says with a welcoming smile while Luna gives her a smile as well.
With one more person added to their friend group the five knew this year would be special.
