Most people say that high school days are the most beautiful time. At the end of their teenage years, not a few of them begin to think about their future, career, and romance. In fact, there are also some people who find their first love in high school, Aletha is one of those people.

Aletha was in the second grade of high school when her school held an art performance event. Talented students performed their skills on stage, Aletha watched from the audience seats was quite entertained. Aletha did not realize that the sun was almost touching its highest point. It seemed that it was almost twelve o'clock in the afternoon, no doubt the atmosphere was starting to feel hot. As a result, the host called the final performer, a band from music extracurricular.

The band with four members, three boys, and a girl, went on stage. The audience then cheered while giving roaring applause. Aletha didn't join in the cheer, not because she didn't want to appreciate it, it's just that at that time her attention focused on her phone screen, apparently, she was texting her brother because soon the art show would end, and she needed a pickup.

The music began to accompany the singing voice which sounded so beautiful, each note was successfully achieved. Aletha was amazed, she immediately looked away from the phone screen to see who the owner of the golden voice. Instantly Aletha's heart was beating faster, her pupils were enlarged, and her lips were reluctant to close, it was the first time she had fallen in love.

The boy standing on the stage holding the microphone was really handsome in Aletha's eyes. He had olive skin, short thick black hair, and a tall, straight posture. The man sang the song "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction. Each lyric that came out of his mouth succeeded in making Aletha's cheeks appear red. Aletha got carried away, she really hoped that one day the song would be sung especially for her.

Since that day, Aletha began to harbor feelings of love. Based on information from her friends, the boy that Aletha had a crush on was Bima, Aletha's senior from class XII IPS 3. Aletha started to approach Bima in various ways, fortunately, Bima was not the type of cool guy who rarely says greetings. In just one week, Aletha had managed to get his phone number and follow-back from Bima on Instagram.

The friendship between Aletha and Bima grew stronger. Bima even introduced Aletha to his mates in his band and several times invited Aletha to play music in the extracurricular music room even though Aletha was not a member of the extracurricular activity. Gradually the chemistry of love appeared between the two, Aletha and Bima felt comfortable with each other until they both wanted a relationship that was more than just friends. The climax was when Bima suddenly invited Aletha to meet him in the music extracurricular room after school. However, the meeting was unusual because Bima only asked Aletha to come without inviting his other bandmates.

After accepting Bima's invitation, Aletha was very eager to wait for the clock to go home from school, she had a good feeling that shortly she would give up the single status that she had. Finally, the long-awaited time arrived, the home bell rang. Just like the other students, Aletha hurriedly carried her bag on her back, then walked out of the classroom. On the way to the music extracurricular room, Aletha's footsteps suddenly felt so light, she was too excited, hoped that her expectations were not crushed by reality.

From outside the extracurricular music room, Aletha looked in through the half-draped window. Strange, there's nobody in there. Finding the music extracurricular room was empty, Aletha began to wonder, am I coming sooner than Bima? Or did Bima forget his promise? Is it possible that Bima is playing with me?

In a state of exile, finally Aletha decided to just wait. Aletha sat on a wooden bench, the ten minutes burned out and Bima still didn't come. Feeling Impatient to wait any longer, Aletha took out her phone, she sent Bima a message via WhatsApp, but the result disappointed Aletha. Aletha's message was not sent to Bima's phone, there was only one grey tick.
