A lot of conversations took place along the way, often starting from unimportant topics of conversation such as just guessing the shape of a cloud to suddenly straying far to political issues and conspiracies. A moment later, Aletha realized that soon they would reach Lake Ranau because from a distance she could already see the beauty of the Bukit Barisan and Mount Seminung ranges.
Long story short, their car drove down the hill, then stopped near the villas on the shores of the lake. The three of them got out of the car, immediately a slightly refreshing cool air hit the surface of the skin. Even though it was noon, the atmosphere was like morning in an urban area. Aletha and Zahra followed Arka, they were about to go to the villa that had been booked. As soon as Aletha stepped into the villa, the soles of her feet directly touched the cold white tiles. Aletha glanced around, this villa was quite empty, there were not too many ornaments that decorated the room. There was only some important furniture such as chairs and tables. Aletha continued to check the second floor of the villa. She saw a small bathroom, a bedroom containing three separate beds with additional facilities in the form of a balcony that directly led to Lake Ranau and Mount Seminung and all their beauty.
Aletha stood on the balcony admiring the beauty of God's creation. Suddenly Zahra came to Aletha, she took out her phone from her pocket to take a picture of the view that Aletha was enjoying.
"Whoa! Fantastic, huh!" Zahra exclaimed looking at her portrait.
Aletha also saw the results of Zahra's portrait. "Yeah good! Not bad for posting it on Instagram!"
Zahra looked back at the real Mount Seminung. Zahra straightened her hand; she narrowed her eyes as she measured Mount Seminung with the span of her hand. "I wanted to paint this view, luckily I brought my painting equipment."
Arka suddenly appeared from behind, he wrapped his arms around Aletha and Zahra's shoulders at the same time. "It's noon. I'm hungry, let's go find something to eat downstairs!" Arka suggested.
Aletha and Zahra nodded in unison. The three of them immediately descended, then walked along the shore of the lake in search of a place to eat. Actually, there were many food stands lined up along the way, but on average they only sold instant noodles. Aletha was clearly not interested. Until finally they found a booth that sold food in the form of grilled fish and sausages, so they decided to fill their stomachs at the restaurant.
After being full, the three of them immediately wet themselves with lake water, no need to change their clothes first, since they left, they were already wearing a T-shirt. They spent hours in the lake, for a moment it felt like all the burdens of thought dissolved with the water, then drifted somewhere far away. Without them realizing it, the sky that was blue began to turn orange, the birds seemed to be passing by returning to their nests. Realizing that it was already evening, the three of them came out of the lake, then warmed their bodies by eating a bowl of instant noodles that were still warm while watching the beautiful sunset.
"Hey! How are you, Ar? Long-time no see, huh!" said a man who suddenly approached Arka.
Arka watched the man for a moment, after observing the man's face then he remembered something. "Oh! Agil right? I am good! We can have an impromptu reunion like this!"
"Gosh, Arka where have you been? It's since forever, right?" asked the man Arka had just recognized as Agil.
"Yes, of course! I'm here with my sister and cousin," replied Arka.
