As Gene, Paul, And Peter went into the gym with everyone else Peter sat alone while Gene and Paul danced. A few hours pass and the DJ announced something over the microphone.
"Alllllllright ladies and gentlemen! We are starting to get into the couples night! So Couples, feel free to dance to slow songs for the rest of the night. Those without dates, Feel free to find someone or go grab something to drink or eat!" The DJ then turned on a slow song called Wonderful Tonight, by Eric Clapton. The song began, and Paul and Gene began to dance to the music while they were close together.
It's late in the evening, she's wondering what clothes to wear
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair
And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."
Paul smiles softly as he put his head against Gene's chest as the two continued to dance slowly to the music, Paul would hum along gently knowing full well Gene was hearing him. Gene would listen to Paul's gentle humming and he placed a kiss on top of Paul's head, he continued to hold Paul close as the two swayed along to the music.
We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me
And then she asks me "Do you feel all right?"
And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight"
Paul and Gene continued to dance to the song, they were hand in hand and pressed up against each other in a loving manner. Gene's heart was racing but In a good way, "Damn.. he's beautiful" Gene thought to himself. His dark brown hues look at Paul as he nuzzled Paul slightly. Paul couldn't contain his happiness and yet he continued to hum along with the song that was currently playing.

And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you
To Paul It was almost as if all of his worries, doubts, and fears had disappeared. To Paul, Gene was his safe space He didn't have anything to worry about because he knew Gene would always be there to protect him regardless of how bad of a day he had. He wanted to grow old with Gene and maybe even adopt kids. But at this moment, he was focused on having a wonderful night with his partner in crime Gene Simmons.
It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light I say,
"My darling, you were wonderful tonight Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight"
As the song ended Paul looked at Gene and kissed him softly, Gene smiles softly in this kiss and placed a hand on Paul's cheek and kissed him back. That sealed the deal, He was definitely going to do it tonight and no one would stop him.
~TIMESKIP TO THE END OF THE NIGHT~
"That was fun, I'm glad we went Paul." Gene said with a happy tone.
"Me too my sweet demon. Oh, uh by the way. Do you still remember where you and I would meet up after I had asked you out?" Paul asked.
"I believe so, why?" Gene asked raising an eyebrow at his lover
"Could we go there?" Paul asked. Gene thought for a second then nodded.
"Absolutely." Gene replied.
