Earth was just waking up, someone knocks on her door. She puts on her slippers and fix her hair, she looks at the peek hole, and it's Park. She opens the door "Hey, I'm sorry. I just woke up. Come in" "It's okay, I just wanted to give you these. I made you a beef Bourguignon. For Actia and Dee too" "Oh, okay. Thank you" Park gave her a big pot "I'll wash these and return them to you" Said Earth "Yes, No problem, just chill" Said Park "Okay, thank you" Earth closed the door, she puts the pot and opens the door again, and he's still there "Um..We should hang out sometime" Said Earth "Yes, sure. How about Tuesday?" "What are you doing on Monday?" "It's the opening for my restaurant" "Oh" "Wait, do you want to come?" Asked Earth "Do you want me to come?" She was never this brave, ask someone out or even gave her number, even though the other person doesn't ask for it, she was proud of herself but at the same time it's a weird feeling.
She puts the pot in the oven, and called Dee to come over. "Hey. What's up" Said Dee "Oh My God, did you cook?" Asked Actia "No. Park cooks it for us" Said Earth "Are you sure it's Me, Tia, and You? And not just you? Asked Dee "Well, his words are 'I made this for you. For Actia and Dee too' " "Well, I am not going to waste this food" Said Actia while searching for a plate. They sat in the kitchen, "I just ask him out" Said Earth "Wow, that's unlike you. And that's cool" Said Actia "What did he say?" First, He asked me what am I doing on Tuesday. But, I ask him what is he doing on Monday, and he said it's his restaurant opening, and I just said, Oh, and he said do I want to come, and I said do you want me to come, and he said if I want to come he'll wait for me and if I didn't want to come, he didn't say what. And, I said just text me the address and writes my number on his hand" Said Earth "Okay first of all, this sounds SO CUTE" Said Actia , and Dee agrees with her by nodding her head, "And Second, I think that he wants to take you out to dinner on a Tuesday in his restaurant, Why? Because, He knows that you don't like parties that you don't know all the people there. OMG, he so cute" Said Actia "He seems to understand you. I vote yes for this one" Said Dee "Me too. Two votes" Said Actia "OMG, my love life is not a democracy. These people" Actia and Dee laugh and say "YES IT IS" and they all laugh "Okay. What the fuck should I do now? I kinda fucked up" Said Earth "Just say that you can't make it on Monday" Said Dee while washing the dishes "Now?" "This girl, how you supposed to tell him? Do you have his number?" Said Actia "Knock on his door" Said Earth "Dee, I can't with this person. Can you just. I can't" Said Actia "Just wait until he texts you, and say you have 'things' to do. And don't do anything before he texts you to confirm your date " Said Dee "Okay"
Earth was just getting ready to go home from her office, and It's kinda hard to find a cab on a Monday, she thinks to call an Uber, she really don't want to wait, and Park hasn't texted her. She says goodbye to her workmates, and headed to the lobby. She handed Sam the security guard a box of her un-used books for his daughter "I'm sorry, I couldn't find what she needs. So, I just bring it all. It's for her" Said Earth "Are you sure? You don't need this anymore?" Asked Sam "Yes. I'm not working in the legal area anyways" "Thank you so much, Miss" "No problem, Sam. Say hi for your daughter from me" "Sure, Miss. Oh and Miss, someone is asking for you" "Oh? send me to my office then" "I already told him to go up, But, he said he's just going to wait here. There he is" Sam points to a guy "Thank you Sam" Earth comes to the guy "Hello, are you looking for me?" Said Earth, and when he looks up, it's ZJ "What the fuck are you doing here?" Said Earth, ZJ stands up "I need your help" "help?" "Can we go somewhere?" "No, I feel safer here. Spill it" on the back, Sam is standing up to see if Earth is okay or not "I need a job" "You have one" "No. They fired me" "So? Do you really think I can give you a job? After you almost make me fired. You're funny" "No, not here" "Where?" "I don't know E, maybe, I don't know..." While ZJ keeps talking, Earth closes her eyes to find inner peace and breath, "Do you bring your resume?" Asked Earth "Yes" "Give this to Sam. And say, Earth sends you. You can't choose what job you want, you need a job, I'm giving you, any job that's available here" "Yes, Okay. Thank you" ZJ hugs her and walks to Sam. Earth walks to the subway station. Suddenly, ZJ with a bike approach her "Come on. I'll take you home" Said ZJ "No, Thank You" "Come on E, I just wanted to say thank you for giving me a job" "You are welcome, and you don't owe me anything. Please go away" Said Earth ZJ pulls her shirt "Come on E" suddenly a man asks her "Ma'am are you okay?" "Yes. Thank you. Z stop it. You are embarrassing me. Just go. Seriously. I'm the bigger person here" Said Earth "Sorry. Once again, thank you" the other man asks her again "Are you sure you're okay Miss?" "Yes. He's just a crazy ex" "Okay then. Please be careful, Miss.
