Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters
It has been several months since Saishu became a Hashira almost a year by now. In the early morning a semiannual Hashira meeting is being held in the Ubuyashiki Estate. The Tomioka siblings had prepared themselves and setted off to the Estate.
First to arrive was no other than Himejima Gyomei, second was Rengoku Kyojuro, third was Uzui Tengen, fourth Shinazugawa Sanemi, and lastly was the Tomioka siblings. The others had waited for the Flower Hashira for it was suspicious that she had arrived last, normally she would be the second or third to arrive in semiannual meetings but this time she was very late that it worried all the Hashiras.
Later on the Meeting had started without the Flower Hashira.
"We are very pleased to see you in good health Oyakata-sama, I fervently pray for your continuous good fortune"
Saishu had greeted the master as he thanked her for her greetings."Everyone, I thank you all for coming to our Semiannual Hashira Meeting, but before we start our meeting, I have some terrible news to inform you all.
I am very sorry to say this but our Flower Hashira, Kocho Kanae, has passed away"
". . . "
"She had fought with a battle with upper Moon 2, she was able to fight him until sunrise that she had protected everyone on that night, her crow haven't sent any message to us because Upper moon 2 has killed her crow, but her sister Kocho Shinobu was the one to inform and report the mission to me"
". . . "
"I know you are all in deep despair, that I won't send any of you on a mission tomorrow so please, rest at ease. She is in a better place, she is finally resting, we have to accept the truth and to keep going, and pray that we all can meet again in the next life"
". . . "
Everyone was silent, the whole meeting was silent except for Gyomei humming in response to the master's statement.
At the end of the meeting everyone was mourning at their estate, that they all have the whole day to mourn. Rengoku was not wearing his usual cheerful smile, he went to visit Kanae's grave and prayed for her peace, Gyomei had also visited Kanae's grave and prayed for her, and placed every kind of flowers at her grave, Tengen and his wives had also visited with multiple kinds of flowers with them and placed on it in her grave, Sanemi did not visit yet instead he had kept cursing himself and silently screaming at his estate. The Tomioka siblings had just visited with Kanae's favorite flower of bouquets in their hand and prayed infront of her grave. Later on The people living in the Butterfly Estate had visited with flowers in their hands and cried infront of her except for one, Kanao, she had difficulty in crying that she began to sweat everywhere in her body, Shinobu noticed her struggle that he led her to a hug.
Later on at Night Shinazugawa had finally visited he kept telling her stories and his sorries that he have finally confessed in front of her grave but now it was to late.
Saishu was mourning in her room asking questions and cursing to herself.
'Kanae-san... Why do you want to be so attached to me?... Why do you bother talking to me?... I was so useless... that I would even hold your back during our joint missions... cant you see, I'm weak, I'm not a Hashira, I can't even help you in any situations... You shouldn't have died... you never deserved it... You were to kind... You deserved to live more. . .
I'm sorry... I'm sorry I kept making you worry... I'm sorry for ignoring you... I'm sorry for not listening... I just wanted to thank you for trying... thank you for making me happy for even just a glimpse... thank you for treating me lots of Katsudon... thank you for every happy moments you tried giving me... your efforts of making me happy were no fail... I hope you were happy with me aswell... I'll try... I'll try making your dream come true... I'll try to find a way... to make humans and demons friends...'
