It was so hot today , Luca could admit that he had sweat so much today that if he didn't wipe the liquid off himself he would have transformed into his sea monster stage .

Also apparently Alberto had another job , a life guard . To be honest Luca didn't think anyone else would be better for the job , the man knows how to swim , and . . . Swim , oh and eat ! And swim some more . . .

Anyway ! Luca was sitting on the dock with a pistachio and chocolate ice cream in his hand , it is a new flavors sense he has been in Porteroso . . .

" ow ! Sand ball really ! ? " Alberto said , dragging Luca out of his thoughts and to an Alberto with wet sand all over him , blotches of blues and purples all over his body from the water .

Luca chuckled a little then stopped as he remembered he came here with someone . . . The annoying black headed catfish that was being a totally big fucker right now . Cleary jealous .

" hey dream boy " Alberto said , making Luca look up at the taller male .

" I've gotta go check on some things in the water , wanna come with ? " Alberto offered trying not to move his foot to much around in the sand to show his obvious nervousness .

" sure ! " Luca said a little to over excited , not knowing why he was being to excited .

" awesome ! Let's go ! " Alberto said grabbing Lucas hand and going the totally opposite way of the water .

" Alberto , the waters that way " Luca said pointing to where they were just at .

" trust me , that's not the only place the water is " Alberto laughs and gets to the top of a hill so they are over looking the area of rolling fields that lead to a cliff that drops down to water .

Alberto let go of Luca's  hand , Luca feeling questionably empty , and started running towards the cliff . When he got there he jumped off and yelled .

" TAKE ME GRAVITY ! "

" just how you left it " Luca laughed and Alberto rubbed the back of his neck .

" a mess " Luca finished , gracefully and gently ghosting the antics with his fingers .

" ya , a mess . . . It's pretty bad " Alberto chuckled and went over to the ' Vespa ' poster that was on the ground and picked it up , looking up at the wall and seeing the tally marks .

" have I ever told you about my parents ? " Alberto asked and Luca put a hand on his shoulder in a re adhering way .

" no you haven't " Luca responded , his voice soft .

" mom was like us and dad was a land monster . . . " Alberto said and Luca listened .

" I never knew moms name , or dad's . . . All I know is mom faked being a human and when they had me " Alberto sighed " mom died . . . And after all you need to wash babies to when they washed me i- " Alberto paused but continued as Luca gave him a side hug .

" I turned into a monster . . . Dad only stayed with me unroll he said I was old enough to live on my own . . . " Alberto was to into the explanation that he didn't notice the wetness on his shirt and Luca holding him tightly in a hug . Of course Alberto hugged him back and smiled .

" it was a while ago . . . "

" and still , life goes on . . . "
