Raven reached the common room, surprised to see that she was the first one awake. She shrugged and put her kettle on the stove, leaning against the counter island as the water boiled.
Despite the season, the summer weather wasn't kicking in for Jump City. The water surrounding the island on which Titans Tower was located, still remained cool and even frigid in some spots. The air was humid, though, but still colder than usual.
Her kettle whistled and Raven poured the boiling water slowly into a black mug. She floated over to the window, dunking her tea-bag into the water. The sky was faintly bright, and the ocean water kicked at the coastline, sending waves on the land. With a soft sigh, Raven blew on the surface of the steaming water and took a sip.
The common room doors slid open, and Robin walked in, surprised to see Raven there. "You're up early." He remarked, stepping towards the kitchen.
Raven nodded simply. Between her and Robin, words were never needed to be exchanged. But of course, Robin being Robin, he usually attempted to make conversation with her, but Raven always deadpanned a response.
Raven sensed the masked boy's nose twitch slightly after the silence crowded the room for a small while. He tried his best to make conversation.
"Nice morning," he said, looking outside. "Almost makes me feel like we'll get another six weeks of spring."
The Boy Wonder frowned as Raven sauntered out, almost as if he had said nothing.

The empath journeyed to the roof to meditate, crossing her short legs and sighing inwardly. Thoughts from the past nights flooded her already crowded mind, giving her a headache.
She would need something to take her mind off of things, but what? Another person would destract her, but who? Starfire was too cheery, it'd make Raven feel even more insane. Cyborg was too talkative, and she didn't need more thoughts in her head. And she didn't want to bother Robin, or make him worry. But Beastboy. . .
She whisked away the thought as quickly as she had it.
Footsteps clicked at the staircase to the roof, making the thought wander off to her subconscious. Sighing, the empath turned her head to see what or who had disturbed her.
She found a gasp at the back of her throat and scrambled out of her mediative position. She staircase she had heard the footsteps tap on wasn't the one to the roof. It was one to heaven.
And the figure in front of her; an Angel.
