"The music was very unprofessional," Colin begins to scold me as we walk towards the plane.
"They enjoyed it," I say as I fix my sunglasses and continue ignoring his glare. "You have a shitty playlist-"
"Why are you like this?"
"You know me," I smirk as I take one step on the stairs. "I'm Colombian."
The team and a couple of us staff members, including Colin, were headed to Bogota to show the team Colombia's capital.
As Colin steps onto the plane I give him one last smile before stepping to the front to get everyone's attention since I am the official tour guide.
"Okay, everyone," I clap my hands and get their attention. "The name of the island we're staying on is Isla de Tierra Bomba. After the boat ride to the coast of the city, we are now embarking on our hour and a half flight from Cartagena, Colombia, to Bogota, Colombia- the nation's capital. Once there, we'll do some sight seeing, shopping, and eating of course," I pause to let the guys cheer and they do. "Although not the most exciting city in Colombia, it is of course the first stop to see the stadium where the final is going to be held and your first game- Estadio Nemesio Camacho, or how us locals would call it, El Campin-"
"So, what's the most exciting city?" Thomas calls out.
"Cartagena and Medellin are fun," I say. "But I would have to be biased and say Cali," I smile. "We'll head over there soon, no need to worry. For today, let's enjoy Bogota to the fullest before the cup gets on its way. We're going in groups based on the houses and some managers to each group. Every group will be guided by a staff member. We're gonna go our separate ways, but I promise we'll cover the same ground. Colin, my love, is handing out the paper with your groups and leader. In addition, you'll get a map and the cell phone number of your leader for emergency use. You're all adults, I hope you can handle yourselves. The leaders will change on every trip- if you're lucky, you'll end up with me and have fun," I smirk and make the guys cheer.
I take half of the sheets Colin was handing out and help after we can finally take off.
As I head over to my seat next to Colin in the back I call out one last time.
"Everyone has my number?"
"Yes," they all agree.
"Everyone has Colin's number?" I ask.
"Yes," they all agree again.
"I get that you're eccentric and everything-"
"That's a strong word," I interrupt Colin as I put my seat belt back on.
"Hey, I'm trying to pay you a compliment right now."
"Go on, I love compliments," I smile.
"But you sure do have your shit together," he smiles.
"You know your way to a girls heart," I say before leaving a kiss on his cheek.
When we finally land, I quickly grab my backpack and head to the front of the plane.
"To the bus!" I cheer.
I get off the plane first and head over to our transport awaiting us all to take us out of the airport.
Once we arrive to the center of the city, we all get off the bus and get into our groups.
"House six!" I wave my arms and the three guys and one manager begin to approach me. "Yay! I got the small group," I smile. "More fun to have."
"This is exciting," Jérôme claps his hands. "Colombia already seems beautiful."
After I smile I begin to talk.
