chapter one - just another day

POV / jax

I woke up to feeling the wind gushing at me but it didn't matter. i was alone as usual but i like to be alone, i work better alone. nothing that can distract me. i heard screaming from the west side so i got up and grabbed my PGM Ultima Ratio(customized sniper rifle) and walked towards the direction of where the scream came from. i came across a valley and what i saw was a pack of wolves chasing 2 people. looks like a couple to me. so i aimed my hunting rifle to one of the omega wolves and pulled the tigger, the omega was no more. i pulled the handle back so that the casing can fall to the ground which was repalced by a new round. i push the handle back in place so the weapon can be ready for another shot. i looked through my scope and i saw that the 2 wolves were catching up to the couple.i held my breath so that my accuracy increases and then I aimed my weapon and the closest wolve that was near the couple and then i pulled the trigger and the wolve dropped. the couple looked back and saw the 2 wolves that was shot by me. they looked around to see where the bullets came from but cannot find the person. i pulled me handle back so i can reload. hearing the sound of the case falling to the ground making a soothing noise that i enjoy. i pushed the handle back in position and i aimed at the last wolve and fired. the bullet hit the leg of the wolf making it suffer. i pulled my handle back and took the clip out and started to walk towards the sufffering wolf. the couple stared at me with joy and all i gave themw as a cold glare. i then said "get outta here now!!". they ran like as if there life depended on it. i look back a the wolf i sighed " damn tourists" i placed my rifle on my back and grabed my machete.i walked up to the wolf and i grabbed it head gently and i closed his eyes saying "im sorry i have to live with this now but those people are my kind and i defend my kind so please close your eyes this will only hurt abit" the wolf stopped budging and closed its eyes. animals some how understand me. so i aimed my blade at its head "intellegetis enim in sempiternum vivent"(for you will ever live on) then i stabbed the wolf in the head. he didnt suffer with that fatel blow. i drag my blade out of his skul and place it back at my side. I turned around and went home at an abandonded airfield.

I walked accross the airfield to a building which i live in. i opened the door and placed my rifil in the armory next to the old kitchen. i came to the bed and fell on the bed saying " same old thing. tourist come here only to get chased every single fucking day." i sighed. I checked the watch on my wrist and it was 6:35 i sighed once again and soon fell asleep. i woke up but not on my bed but in the jungles of congo with my last team mate? then it hit me, this is a memory on the night that i lost my closest friend by this monster. i heard shore saying "we gotta get outta here now before that thing gets us like the rest fo the team. i said to him " how are we going to get outta here. there is no evac coming for us this is a black out mission so no one is coming for us." then we heard something coming from west of us. screaming sound that burns through your ears."shit do you think it can smell us" i whispered shore looks at me while moving away from me "it can smell you but im the one who is going to live" he said as he started running away. i heard a low growl  coming from behind me.i felt my phone vibrate in my breast pocket but that didnt concern me at this point. i slowly moved my head to where the growl came from only to be met by fangs.

i woke up rocketing off my bed. i realised it was just a dream... just a nightmare. my phone rang again at my breast pocket once again and i thought to myself who has my number. i looked at the caller ID and it said private.i answered it and said "who the hell are you people" the guy answered by saying " hello humphrey or should i say jax. we want you to do us a favour and we will pay you handsomely" how the hell does he know my name." like i said who the hell are you" i said once again." well tell us where you live and you can see for yourself. " he said and now waiting for a response from me"fine come at west airfield of madagascar at 1500 hrs and make sure to bring a unit becuase i am tired of bullshit" i growled at him." very well see you soon delta" he sadi and then hanged up. i thought 'looks like he knows my past. i palced my phone on charge and checked the time and it was 3:45 am.i got up and walked to the fridge and i opened the fridge and found a meat pie that was still in good condition so i grabbed the meat pie and placed it in the microwave for 10 mins. i walked to my couch and said "what... a...day"
