Mia held on to a map, "Civics are stashed somewhere outside of Thermal." She keeps her eyes on the map as Brian thinks, "They wouldn't double back, and highway ten is too well patrolled. So, what does that leave us with?" He questioned causing Mia to point out a large part of the map, "All of this." Brian pulled out his phone to call Nextel, "This is Officer Brian O'Connor. Serial number 34762. I need a cell phone trace." Mia looked up at Brian, the betrayal hitting her again from those words.

Brian looked at Mia after the woman asked for the cell number, "Mia, what is Reyna's?" Mia stayed silent making Brian sigh, "Come on, Mia. She needs Reyna's cell phone number now." Brian handed her the phone before focusing on the road. Mia sighed before placing the phone by her ear, "322-555-6439" She handed the phone back to Brian, "Thank you." He spoke kindly to Mia causing her to look out the window. He focused back on the woman on the phone, "Yeah, you get that?" She told him they'd call him back, he only hoped they'd make it on time.

Dom looked at everyone before pulling the covers off of the cars, "All right, we're one man short. So, Rey, I need you on the left side with Letty." Reyna nodded as she stood with Letty. "Your sister's right about this one. This doesn't feel good," Leon spoke as he gave Dom the harpoon gun. "Don't do that," Dom responded as he looked around at everyone, Reyna looked down trying to ignore the bad feeling she was getting from this. "Something's wrong," Letty tells him as she bought over the other gun.

Dom shook his head, "Stop." Reyna sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair. "We shouldn't be doing this without Jesse," Reyna spoke in hopes to change his mind, they should be looking for him and protecting him not hijacking some truck for cash. "Look. This is the mother lode. We've been on this for three months. After this, it's a long vacation for everyone. Let's go," Dom spoke making Reyna sigh in defeat, she had a feeling their 'long vacation' would be more forced rather than enjoyable.

Dom spoke with Letty as Leon spoke with Vince, Reyna kept to herself leaning against the car door. Dom looked around at everyone before looking at Leon, "Leon, keep on those scanners." Dom made his way over to his car, looking over at Reyna with a small reassuring smile getting one in response. "All right, let's go," Dom says before everyone got into their assigned cars, Reyna's leg was bouncing due to her nerves as Letty drove the car. She could only hope that things would be okay, but since when did things truly go their way.

Brian's phone began ringing, he answered quickly as they continued driving in a random direction. "Okay, we traced the number to the northbound eighty-six. Mile 114, outside Coachella. We'll keep the trace open, Officer," The woman spoke politely before Brian hung up the phone. "Let me see this," Brian says as he takes the map from Mia, he looked over it carefully as he focused on where to go. "I think we're about forty miles away," Brian spoke before pushing the map away and focusing on the road.

Mia thought for a moment before looking at Brian, "What are you gonna do?" She began to worry about Brian's intentions knowing he had a job to do but she had to protect her family. "What are you gonna do?" Brian only sped up the car, he was completely unsure about what he was gonna do. He was conflicted by all of this, by his past and by the people he had come to care for. He couldn't look at Mia because he knew, for her, he'd risk it all because he knew, he loved her.

The team reach the target, Reyna and Letty shared a concerned glance as they catch up to the truck. "Okay! Go time!" Dom spoke through the walkie talkie as he pulled up in front of the truck. "We're all good. I got nothing on the scanners. Keep going," Leon says over the walkie as Vince takes his windshield out. Vince then hits the seat and connects the wire to his belt. The team were left stunned when the truck driver shot at Vince, who was on the truck.
