THIRTY-FIVE

Reyna walked into the room with tears flowing down her face, everyone turned to her with stunned expressions. Tej jogged over to her and pulled her into his embrace as Hobbs walked in behind her with a pained expression. "He's alive... and he remembers me," Reyna says as she melted into Tej's embrace letting herself break down completely. Brian looked down before stepping away, pulling out his phone before dialling Mia's number. "Mia... Uh, it's definitely Letty and Benny. But it's, uh... it's complicated." He sighed as he looked over at Reyna who finally calmed down from the sobs.

Mia let out a breath of relief, "They're alive. That's all that matters." She looks down at Jack with a smile, "We have them back, Brian." Brian nodded looking at Dom as he got out supplies to remove the bullet from his shoulder. "Well, do me a favour and give Jack a kiss goodnight for me," Brian says with a small smile. "Be safe," Mia tells him. "I love you, Mia," Brian says before hanging up and walking over to Dom, "She definitely saw that it was you?" Dom looked up at Brian.

Reyna made her way over to them after noticing the bullet wound in Dom's shoulder. "She looked dead at me, Brian," Dom answers him with a frown causing Reyna to furrow her brows. "Maybe the Letty we once knew is gone, Dom," Brian says as he looks down, "Even though she's alive, maybe she's gone." Reyna shook her head, "You don't turn your back on family, even when they do. Benny knew it was me, he said that I shouldn't be here. He has to be here for a reason and I'm gonna find out." Dom nodded in agreement as a new wave of determination hit the two leaders.

"All right, lock it up. We got two things," Hobbs says as everyone walks towards each other. "First off, this is the worst damn city in the world to commit a crime. They got street cameras on every street corner. I got video footage from CCTV of the raid. Let's track that, see where it leads us." Hobbs hands a chip to Tej who was standing next to Reyna with his arm around her waist. Ever since she had confronted her brother, he wouldn't let her out of his sight in case she needed him.

Hobbs continued, "And secondly, we just got confirmation on what Shaw's crew grabbed from Interpol." Reyna stood up straight with her full attention on Hobbs as he continued, "They ripped off the database of every location that houses the final compartment that they need." Reyna sighed as she glanced at Dom who spoke up, "So where are they at?" Riley crossed her arms against her chest, "There are over two dozen of them around Europe." Reyna looked down as she focused on her brother's words trying to work out exactly what he meant.

Hobbs' voice pulled Reyna from her trance, "But the list is only good for ninety-six hours. Which means, wherever Shaw's crew is going to hit next it's going to happen within the next four days. They got a window and so do we. We gotta move." Reyna nodded as she looked around at everyone, "Hobbs is right. So let's break this down. You met them, what do we know?" Reyna stood tall fitting in the leader role perfectly bringing proud smiles to Dom and Brian's faces.

"We know they have to be running custom engines," Tej starts, "You heard the flip car going through those gears." Reyna nodded in agreement. "Sequential transmission," Han adds as he looks from Tej to Reyna. "That didn't sound like a normal engine," Gisele says as she looks from Dominic to Reyna. "That was a turbo diesel," Rome adds as Brian nods, "It sounded like something you hear at Le Mans." Hobbs was impressed watching as the team communicated well together though Riley had a slight glare towards Reyna.

"Did you see it take all those hits and still stay flat in the corners?" Tej asks everyone. "Yeah, hydraulics," Rome answers him. "Or magnetic suspension," Brian suggests as Reyna noticed the impressed expression on Hobbs' face making her smile proudly at her team, her family. "Who not only had access to the components but can fabricate something like that?" Han asks the one question they all needed an answer to. "Maybe a handful of shops in London," Gisele answers him with a sigh.
