This felt like one of the most normal things Lani had done in her life recently. The big business move was still a complete work in progress when it came to actually readjusting, the amount of boxes spread around the apartment didn't seem to help either.

But for the first time in almost five years Lani found herself planning to play video games again, and this time as a distraction from the life she has set up for herself. But that seemed to be a constant in Lanis life, she never really had much to complain about, her social media following came pretty simply and the rest was history for her. Even with all of that, she wasn't sure if she was the person she wanted to be.

She watched the logo pop up, she quickly signed into the account using the username she had so fondly remembered and the same password she uses for every social media, email and website. Pretty cliche, very easy to hack and yet someone still hadn't done it. It was simply her first and middle name, initials capitalized and her birthday, things she could always remember.

As the screen loaded she saw the notification indicating people had added her as a friend, clicking on it, dreams account popped up. More specifically his profile picture which looked sort of like a fan art. She accepted it and immediately dream had sent a chat. Asking to call her, she looked around the room first and wanted to move her set up. Before she could figure out what to do he was calling her.

Something new she learned about this Dream character is that he does not like to waste time or takes too much time. She dropped onto her bed with the laptop and accepted the call, it took only a few moments for her to realize he didn't have his face cam on and quickly turned hers off. The slight chuckle Dream let out was definitely not missed by the girl as she face palmed in embarrassment.

"I should've mentioned I'm a faceless youtuber," dream awkwardly laughed, she could almost picture the guy rubbing the back of his neck as he laughed. "That would've been a good heads up," she replied some how even more awkwardly as she sat up readjusting herself. "You used to play minecraft?" dream asked, the question itself almost made Lani burst out into laughter.

"Yeah, a lot actually but I let it go after I had to actually start focusing on a career, wether i would stick with social media or not," she quickly cut her words short when she realized she was rambling, and by the eerie silence he knew she was as well. "Well Lani you are actually in pretty good hands, i would like to say im pretty good at mine craft and am definitely willing to teach you," she could slightly hear his chair readjusting, and the call fell silent for a few short moments.

"I don't have anything to play on," she looked around her empty room as she waited for his response. "I'll send you a list, purchase those things," she could hear his keyboard as he typed rapidly. "Just shoot me a message letting me know if you can get it or not, you're gonna have to rush delivery it's not gonna be cheap," his voice lowered as he fell deeper into the concentration he had towards getting this done. "I'll speak to you later dream, nice speaking to you," she bid her farewell and waited for a response, "it was nice speaking with you as well lani," she had a small smile on her face as she left the call.

As soon as it ended she went to grab her phone, calling her manager was her first instinct. It rung over three times before Mer answered. "Hello Delrose, what can i do for you right now?" she asked, her voice oozed in sarcasm. "Do I have some money I can just spend, it's actually important, like a lot of money not no 100, 200 dollars i'm talking thousands," she heard a slight hiss from Mers line before she responded.

"Is this for that event, that stream thing?" mer asked as she let out an exaggerated huff of disapproval. "Yes actually," Lani responded before hesitating, "it' uhm a new way to branch out?" she struggled to come up with a real reason besides the fact that it intrigued her. "Branch out you say?" mer responded with a small snicker. "Yeah into a new community, the gaming community," Lani blabbed, she couldn't even believe her own small lies.

"Hm," Mer muttered, "I suppose it is good exposure, have you seen his youtube statistics, his growth is amazing,"' once again Lani heard the clicking sounds of rapid computer typing. "No actually, I haven't," Lani clicked her tongue as she searched up dream on her youtube.

The first videos were something called manhunts, and the farther you scrolled the weirder it got, apparently he exiled a boy from somewhere, and he flirts with a guy named george a lot, dreamnotfound compilations, and more randomly his modded videos from years back. She went onto his main channel and saw that all of his manhunt videos seemed to do extremely well peaking at millions of viewers.

"Well Delrose, I can see what I can do, but i'm pretty sure this is a dumb idea," Lani could practically hear the annoyance in Mers voice. "I'll text you about it later Delrose, speak soon," Mer bid her farewell and Lani did the same, she hung up and sat in front of her laptop, looking at dreams channel before deciding to choose one of the manhunt videos. More specifically the Minecraft Speed runner VS 5 hunters, it averaged over 50 million views and seemed to intrigue Lani.

She watched as it started, and met all of the new people, people who would probably also be in the event. As the video continued she sorta knew what dream was doing, but his awesome clutches always seemed to leave her leaning close to the screen and letting out a loud breath when he was actually successful in making his way out of a tough situation.

The boat in mid air made lani shout at her screen, cheering for the green character that ran around. But now she wanted to focus more on the people surrounding him, he loved to pick on the one british one, george and sapnap was definitely an american. Awesam, Bad, and Antfrost were also very funny to watch with the video, they added in a more calming dynamic.

Dream won, and Lani was already completely ready for a different video, she clicked on one that didn't look to be manhunt based, and was uploaded by someone else, Tommyinnit. It was his video titled I am Alone in Exile with Dream, she didn't realize it was gonna be based on a role playing server dream started mostly on accident.

But the dynamic between the blond and dream was quite funny, because even while they role played and dream looked to be the dickhead character they were still having fun together. Tommy was quite funny, his loud way of going about things reminded Lani of her younger self in a way.
