Lena's POV

The way back home was quite as me, Kara, and Kiara decided to walk home. I didn't want to leave Kiara at the DEO. She thought she would be sleeping at the DEO while being on this mission, but I talked to Kara so Kiara could stay with us for the time being.

The DEO was a 4 mile walk to mine and Kara's home. Kara nagged in the beginning of the walk insisting that we fly home, but I declined her offer. It only made Kara nag more until I pointed at our daughter who was 20 feet in front of us. Kiara looked ammused at national city. Maybe construction in national city change in the matter of 20 years. Her eyes wondered the whole city looking at every detail, every building.

We caught up to Kiara. Her eyes were lit of joy telling us the difference between national city now and in the future. Kara seem to enjoy talking to Kiara as they talked all the way back home. I listened to them talk mostly about national city and some about superheroing.

Kiara had every bit of hope her mother had. While they were on the topic about superheroing she and Kara talking about the dangerous missions they had came across. These two girls would do anything to protect their city.

Onced we arrived home; me and Kara got Kiara settled into our home giving her a tour. Kiara laughed all through our house tour, than after she told us "Y'all now this was my house for 18 years" she said then died of laughter.

"Why didn't you tell us than we could've skipped the whole showing you around" I said but I turned to Kara who was hold back her dark laughter. "Because you were so in detailed about our home" Kiara said bearly controling her laughter.

"Are you guys hungry?" I said as I know Kara is always hungry 24/7 so I assumed Kiara was too.

"Yes!" both of the supers replying fast once they knew food was involved causing me to chuckle. "Alright I'll make food!" Both of the supers said "okay" than plopped down on the couch.

"Kiara? honey is there anything you don't like?" I question Kiara to see about her food taste.

Kiara said "I'm not a picky eater. Oh but I don't like kale" making Kara laugh than Kiara followed after her. As the supers laughed they highfive eachother bearly keeping it together. I feel defeated. "OMG YOU ARE MY DAUGHTER!! Kale is gross" Kara said than looking at me. I chuckled at Kiara and Kara bonding together. It felt nice. "Don't worry mom. Keegan likes kale" Kiara said than put her focus on Kara as they mockling gagged.

I decided to just order potstickers and another kale salad for me. Since Kiara has Kara's taste in food. Well at least Kiara got my taste in fashion instead of my wife. Since Kara dressed like an old man. The supers ate in silence shoving the potstickers in their mouth like if they haven't ate in ages.

around 8:30

Kiara was in the shower cleaning herself as she smelled like ashed from the breach. I decided to clean up around the house since it was game night at our house tonight.

I heard a knock on the door as everyone started to come over for game night. Opening the door I was delighted by Alex and Maggie.

"What's up Little Luthor. I heard about what happened at the DEO. Wheres she at? I want to see her." Maggie said while entering and giving me a hug.

"She's in the shower, but I'll ask her if she wants to join us later." I talked to maggie while going in for a hug with alex.

"Where's Kara?" Alex puzzled looking to find her sister.

" Kara flew to the store to get some drinks and chip for everyone she'll be back in a bit." Lena said and Alex nodding than plopped on the couch wait for everyone to come. Maggie and Lena followed right after.
